We stayed at this hotel for four nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were great as well, which made it very easy to rest after a long day. The room had a good amount of space and included everything we needed for our stay. Housekeeping came every day to clean the room, which we appreciated. However, on the second day we found a vape and a clothing tag under the bed, which looked like it had been left from a previous guest. Aside from that, the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The location is also very convenient. There is a bus station right in front of the hotel, and nearby you can find McDonald's, KFC and Woolworths. Behind the hotel, about one block away, there is also a tram station that takes you to Westfield Parramatta in only two tram stops. The pool and tennis court are nice amenities, although they could probably use a bit of renovation. Overall we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the location and service.
Located well if you have events at Rosehill and ghe bed was comfy but otherwise this hotel leaves A LOT to be desired. The rooms are so dark even with all the lights on. The TV had no WiFi so couldn't stream anything and was told, "oh they're new and we need to get someone in to fix it". The toilet seat had one bolt almost completely loose so it was sliding all over the place. I had to fix it myself. No rubbish was collected at all for the entire three nights I stayed. I had to specifically request that they make up the room (apparently leaving the sign on the door all day telling them i was out and walking right past the housekeepers making up the surrounding rooms wasn't enough). They still left empty bottles and rubbish around and just made the bed with the same linens and hung up the same towels. The shower was shocking and only had 3 settings:- burning hot, even hotter or freezing cold. The parking machine seemed to have a mind of its own. It's meant to be $25 a day. Sometimes it was free, sometimes it would charge $25 after an hour or sometimes $50. Whatever the hell it wanted to do. For a 4 star hotel they really need to lift their game...
The location is good — unfortunately, that’s the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. I stayed here for work and will not be returning. The rooms are outdated and did not feel properly cleaned. Overall presentation and maintenance were quite disappointing. The buffet breakfast was extremely limited. It felt more like a “fruit buffet” than a proper breakfast — there was very little variety beyond fruit, which was underwhelming. The most frustrating part of the stay was trying to contact reception. Each time I called, I was placed in a phone queue and had to wait, which felt more like calling a corporate office than speaking to a hotel front desk. When I went down in person to ask about it, I was simply told they were busy. For the price charged, the experience does not justify the cost. I’m confident there are other nearby hotels that offer much better service and value for money.
The beds are very comfortable, but the hotel is quite dated and in need of a paint. Adjusting the air conditioning made no difference to room temperature and it was uncomfortably hot overnight. The room had no information booklet in it. No wifi details provided, or info on hotel facilities. TV had strange remote & wasn't intuitive to find channels. Water temperature dangerously hot. Shower had no water pressure, and unclean / mouldy shower floor. Toilet paper holder was broken and wouldn't hold roll properly. Staff in restaurant were not very attentive, however meal was lovely. Location was very good. Not good value given shortcomings in the room. Fix the aircon, in room information & bathroom facilities!
While the rooms are nice and spacious they could do with a bit of a refurb. Otherwise our stay here was very pleasant. We stayed for a concert and they organised a shuttle bus which was awesome. Buffet breakfast was great and lots of choices. Would recommend.
