Reviews for Mercure Sydney Parramatta

The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the staff made my stay absolutely pleasant, and everything was great overall. The only downside was that the two single beds kept separating, which created a gap in the middle of the king bed and caused some back discomfort. Otherwise, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and the housekeeping staff were very professional. The location is excellent!

Great location for family with supermarket and McDonalds opposite. Interconnecting family room was awesome. Main bedroom like a suite. We would have liked to have some fresh air into room or a fan as cooler wasn't able to service the room.

Located in a super convenient location where right in front the hotel there are a bus stop, MC Donald, KFC & Woolworth. Additionally, there is a huge park along the river bank nearby. Its facilities are old; however, they are well maintained. The room met my needs with comfortable beds during my 7-day vacation. Negatives include neither toothbrush nor toothpaste provided; moreover, heap of fibre/dust comes out of covers of pillows & quilts. Last but not least, wall insulation was weak as guests’ talk was clearly heard that absolutely disturbed my rest after 10pm.

Mercure Parramatta is easily one of the most enjoyable hotels I’ve stayed at. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted by an impressive lobby complete with a stunning indoor waterfall. It gives the whole place a calm, relaxing vibe and sets the tone for the rest of your stay. The atmosphere feels welcoming, modern, and clean, and the staff are always friendly, professional, and quick to assist with anything you need. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The beds are super cosy, the bathrooms are spotless, and the overall setup makes it easy to relax whether you’re staying for one night or a longer trip. Housekeeping does a great job and everything feels fresh and organised. One of the biggest highlights is the outdoor swimming pool—it’s large, clean, and perfect for both relaxing and having fun with family or friends. There are plenty of spots to sit around the pool, and it’s a great place to unwind after a long day. On top of that, the hotel has a full tennis court, which is an awesome bonus for anyone who likes to stay active or just wants to play casually for fun.The location is another strong point. Mercure Parramatta is close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, making it super convenient for exploring the area or getting wherever you need to go. Whether you’re staying for a holiday, a weekend getaway, or even for work, everything is easy and accessible. Overall, Mercure Parramatta offers a perfect mix of comfort, entertainment, and great service. The unique waterfall in the lobby, the big pool, and the tennis court make it stand out from other hotels. Highly recommend staying here if you want a relaxing and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

While the rooms are nice and spacious they could do with a bit of a refurb. Otherwise our stay here was very pleasant. We stayed for a concert and they organised a shuttle bus which was awesome. Buffet breakfast was great and lots of choices. Would recommend.
