Reviews for Pullman Sydney Hyde Park

My home in Sydney! I love that floral smell of the lobby when you first pull up outside. Service is always great. The location on the quiet side of Hyde park suits just fine, with a convenience store downstairs, a couple of cheap and cheerful breakfast cafes around that end of the park and a banging Italian a couple of blocks behind. I'm perhaps most impressed that the room service isn't a massive rip off like most other hotels. Look, the rooms are a bit small and in need of a tart up, but I find them cozy and comfortable. A little disappointed they've moved to toiletries in pump packs on the wall instead of little bottles, but what are you going to do? If you can get a room at a good price in the $200s, it's an awesome hotel. Granted, full freight up in the $400s and above, you've either got to love the hotel or it's got to be well under the $700s of somewhere else fancy. I love it.

We had a lovely two days at the Pullman. The car park was a godsend and worked very well indeed. If you book and pay in advance for the car park the barrier will automatically open on your arrival. Parking is on levels 3,4 or 5 and the lift takes you straight to the lobby. The breakfast was good as were the staff. I slept well in their comfortable bed and enjoyed the lovely view over Hyde Park. Thank You.

It’s the small details that make a hotel truly 5 star. Our mini bar wasn’t stocked and was 45 minute wait for room service to bring a bottle of wine so I went to the bar, which was closed and then reception also couldn’t help either. No tomato juice at the bar for Bloody Marys when was open and our room wasn’t serviced on the first day. Hotel needs money spent on it. Roof top pool furniture is tatty and old, hotel bar is gloomy and ceiling has mould on it. It’s a good 4 star at best.

I recently stayed at the Pullman on Hyde Park in Sydney and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in such a perfect location overlooking Hyde Park. From the moment I arrived, the reception team made me feel so welcomed. The staff member who checked me in (she mentioned she was still in training) was absolutely brilliant — incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. She set the tone for a great stay. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The only minor issue was that the bathtub tap wasn’t working properly, but it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the room. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return. The warm service and beautiful location really made it special. Highly recommend!

Great location, close to shops, museums & galleries. View of Hyde Park from our room was gorgeous. Pool, spa and sauna were more than enough for a short stay with beautiful views from the rooftop. Breakfast was a small but decent variety. Lolly cart in lobby was a hit for young and old. Happy Hour in the lobby bar was intimate but fun too. We really enjoyed our long weekend stay!
