I had the pleasure of being aboard The Jackson last Thursday for the Tourism Employee Awards, and it was truly an unforgettable evening ✨ The vessel itself is stunning and impeccably maintained. Everything from start to finish was top-notch — the ambience, the delicious food and drinks! The crew were not only friendly but also thoroughly professional, always attentive and committed to making sure we had the best experience possible. Despite the wild Sydney weather and heavy rain, the views of the city from the harbour remained absolutely breathtaking. It added a unique charm to the evening and made the experience all the more memorable 🎆 One point worth noting is the handling of food allergies. A colleague of mine had specifically requested a seafood-free meal, yet was still served fish as the main course. While this may have been a simple oversight or miscommunication, it’s crucial that dietary restrictions are carefully observed to avoid potential medical emergencies. That aside, kudos to The Jackson team for a wonderful night. I’d definitely recommend the experience to others and hope to sail with them again soon 👏👏

Chandon Long Lunch - Sat 13th Dec 2025: A great experience overall. Hugely frustrating that the live acoustic music "to sway or dance the day away" was so loud that we literally had to shout at the people sitting directly next to us. Loved that the music was loud after lunch and dancing was lots of fun, but the atmosphere was completely ruined and overpowered by ridiculously loud music before and during lunch. The margaritas were absolutely awful - not proper margaritas at all and weren't even served in cocktail glasses. They tasted like watered down juice! Definitely not worth the $55 per person drinks upgrade. Also, it would have been nice (and was expected) that our lunch plates and glasses were cleared away before desert was served. Zero space at the table. Given this is sold as a 'luxury' super yacht experience, these things disappointed us a lot! Still had fun though.

We celebrated my hens day on The Jackson. I have always noticed this impressive looking boat and thought how good to go cruising around the harbour on that stunning super yacht. Well it didn’t disappoint we all had the best time. Drinking Chandon eating delicious food taking photos of the amazing landmarks around Sydney Harbour. The most absolutely perfect place to celebrate any event. Highly recommended. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. We had several dietary requirements in our group and everyone was individually catered for. LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about the day

What a huge disappointment. Specifically thought The Jackson would be a beautiful way to do Vivid have previously done the Sydney 2000. Seating was pretty awful, the food was a true disappointment & all in all not worth the dollars spent. Vivid lights themselves were disappointing, but nothing Captain Cook Cruises could do about that but the added disappointment of The Jackson has indeed left a sour taste. To anyone booked in the coming weeks, I truely hope you have no expectations of a great meal because you won’t get it. The salad was not much more than a bagged Coleslaw you can buy at your local supermarket & the wine matching for the fish is not a match at all.
