The Australian Events Centre at Hyatt Place is one of the newest (and biggest) additions to Melbourne. It's a purpose-built events facility, for international conferences to launches, to grand-scale celebrations. Its huge and modern main space is easily subdivided, without any pesky pillars to get in the way.

This gorgeous, towering event space is eclipsed by one thing: the view from its floor-to-ceiling windows. Metropolis Events boasts an enviable address, on the top floor of the Southgate complex, overlooking the Yarra and the city skyline.
