Treaty Rooms 3–5 at Copthorne Hotel & Resort Bay of Islands are three separate, versatile spaces designed to support breakout sessions, small meetings, secretariat offices and private consult rooms—ideal when you need multiple rooms alongside a larger conference. All rooms are located within the hotel, making transitions between sessions simple for delegates.
Treaty Room Three is a flexible small meeting room offering 32m² of space with a 2.7m ceiling height, suitable for intimate presentations, workshops or small group discussions. Depending on layout, it can host up to 20 theatre-style and 12 classroom-style.
Treaty Rooms Four and Five are set up as permanent boardrooms for up to 8 delegates each, making them ideal for executive meetings, interview rooms or organisers’ offices. For added convenience, complimentary Wi‑Fi is available across the conference venues to keep your agenda running smoothly.

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The rooms were warm, inviting and comfortable. The grounds, setting, views and staff cannot be faulted, all staff encountered but especially the bar and food service staff, were friendly, fun, able to share a joke and entirely positive. My only negative about the entire stay was the shower pressure which was very weak. I know it's standard these days in NZ motels and hotels etc, but a man needs a good shower. Other than that, im already planning my next stay and cannot wait.

A lovely setting, friendly staff, great place to relax. Excellent buffet breakfast. Great selection of cooked and continental breakfast. Our friends ordered espresso coffee which they thought could have been better. Check in was easy. Our room - lovely Seaview, ground floor setting. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Also a very comfortable sofa. The bathroom and kitchenette are dated and in need of refurbishing. Our room was not serviced on one of the days even though our privacy requested sign was not displayed on the door. Bar Area - welcoming, good service and a good choice of bar food. Staff - all friendly and approachable Room for improvement - dated room, very bland passageways to our room, lack of background music in public areas, very basic amenities in rooms (we had to ask for shower cap and extra tea bags). We would return, but I would request a refurbished room 3 nights for $1100 NZ

Outstanding hotel. We recently stayed with a large group of 48 with intellectual disabilities for 5 days. The staff were amazing - welcoming and so helpful. Everyone looked like they loved their job! The rooms were large and well equipped with super comfortable beds, the pool was absolutely incredible and the buffet breakfast the best we had ever seen. It was a trip to remember - a must stay.

Very flexible staff. Due to a flight cancellation, we initially had to leave one day earlier, and the hotel kindly arranged to cancel our last night free of charge. However, after another last-minute change by the airline, our flight was moved two days later instead, so we needed to extend our stay again. This was also no problem. Although we had to change rooms because our original room category was fully booked, the team prioritized cleaning the new room so we could switch rooms seamlessly at the same time as check-out and check-in. Well done! Refurbished rooms are great. Very nice outdoor pool area.

A wonderful place to stay. The reception staff were friendly and really helpful getting us 3 rooms at a very good price. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant where the staff were equally as helpful and friendly as reception. The rooms were very clean and bed sooo comfy. The rooms outlook was very pretty. Highly recommend. Thank you.
