Auditorium 3 & 4 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre are flexible, mid-sized event spaces designed for breakout sessions, presentations, workshops, and smaller conferences. Each auditorium offers a professional, tiered seating layout with excellent sightlines and high-quality acoustics to support clear communication and audience engagement.

These spaces can be used independently or configured to suit a variety of event formats, making them ideal for concurrent sessions or more intimate program streams within larger conferences. Their adaptable design allows organisers to scale their event setup without compromising on experience or functionality.

Combine Halls 1 to 4 and Dobson 1 to 4 create a large, highly flexible exhibition and event space suitable for trade shows, conferences, banquets, and large-scale activations.

When opened up as a single connected footprint, the spaces offer extensive floor area, high ceilings, and seamless flow for exhibitions, networking zones, staging, or large installations. The layout supports a wide range of configurations, from open-plan exhibitions to fully catered gala dinners.

Our Exhibition Hall is one of the biggest convention rooms in the South Island. With 2,800sqm of flat-floor pillar-less space, 10m ceilings and movable sound-proof walling panels, these scalable halls are ideal for exhibitions, live performances or large-scale dinners and award ceremonies. 

Seamlessly integrated within the centre, the Halls have been designed to offer real flexibility, allowing it to be configured to the ideal design for your event. Offering 2,800m² of flat floor space (expandable up to 3,300m²), the area can be divided into three separate carpeted spaces. 

The inside of the exhibition hall features striking, woven acoustic wall panelling on its upper walls. Not only does this material help provide great acoustics, but it also references the concept of traditional weaving techniques which were practiced by local Māori. 

The Dobson Room is a versatile, mid-sized event space designed for meetings, workshops, breakout sessions, and small conferences.

With flexible configuration options, the room can be used on its own or combined with adjoining spaces to support larger event programs. Its clean, modern design and professional setup make it well-suited for focused discussions and collaborative sessions.
