Simply a must visit, amazing collection of war memorabilia and stories. Some stories will break your heart, plenty of additional works going on to make it even bigger. You will need all day, take a break at Poppy's for a feed and drink. And return for the last post ceremony at 4:30pm.

The Australian War Memorial is a tribute lace everyone should visit. It is sobering to think that every name on the Roll of Honour is a life lost a countless families changed forever. I attended the last post ceremony at 4:30pm and it was such a powerful moment.

The curators have really impressed me with the presentation of all exhibits. I would recommend visiting for a morning session and lunch at poppies and then a late afternoon session (too much to see) tickets booked online for free Not to be missed is the last post, very emotional
