First time staying here. I’ve had my baby shower, my 21st in the buffet area, my first wedding anniversary, my graduation etc. so in the last 35 plus years many memorable experiences. We stayed for the week end to have our 12 year wedding anniversary as a staycation. We have such a relaxing weekend. We had a tray of chocolates with happy anniversary when we arrived which was lovely. The atmosphere of the hotel I really loved. The bath tub was great, the bed was comfy and the room ever so spacious. It was hard to get room service and ended going through front desk but the dessert was yum. We had breakfast included with our stay and we really enjoyed it. If anything negative was that we had a dirty nappy left in the bin but it was dealt with straight away. And parking was far to walk to and from but the beautiful gardens make up for it. We will definitely be coming back, such a lovely place.

I love this hotel and have not stayed here very often. The last time it was immaculate as I had expected. This time we just came for high noon tea, which was heavily focused on sweets. A few savouries and a lot of sweets, and as it is post covid now the high tea is served per table on nicely stacked display plates catering for up to 4. It was not as grand as it used to be and also rather pricy, but you get what you pay for; exceptional quality but certainly not quantity or choice as it used to be. For a special occasion I would definitely come again.

We love food and the entire experience at The Tea Lounge every time. The staff was extremely kind to customise the dish to accommodate our dietary needs of being vegetarian. This has certainly provided us with more options and would definitely increase the number of visits we make to this fab restaurant.

Walking distance from the lake and parliament hill. Stately interior design. Rooms are equally great. The bathroom is super large and fancy. Room noise isolation is poor but luckily we had good neighbors. Amazing bed. Worth a stay but not at 300 AUD a night though. Not when they want to charge you for secure parking. Wanted to try their buffet but came on the wrong day.

Loved this hotel! We stayed there for a few days in January. It’s gorgeous, luxurious, and the rooms are very spacious. The service is excellent - everyone was kind and welcoming. The breakfast was fabulous! We really wanted to try high tea, but couldn’t get our act together as we were traveling with two little kids. The hotel flooded when we were there (torrential rain!). Our room was on the ground floor and got flooded. They moved us to the top floor. We had tons of luggage and they moved all our bags for us then gave us free drinks for the trouble. The gym was also fabulous - tons of excellent equipment. We didn’t try the pool, but it looked nice. Location was fine, depending on what you’re looking for. The lake was right there and we enjoyed nice walks around it. There were a couple of restaurant options nearby, besides the ones at the hotel. Highly recommend.
