We had high tea at the Hyatt. The atmosphere was lovely with a pianist playing in the background. Service was a bit average, we had finished the food before the tea came out (we asked three times). The food was fairly nice as well although more savoury than sweet would have been our preference.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding by having dinner with a small gathering of friends and family at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra.The food at the Promenade Cafe was exceptional—absolutely delicious—and we were all so impressed. The ambiance was warm and elegant, with breathtaking Art Deco-inspired decor. The gardens in spring were particularly charming and picturesque. Most importantly, the staff was incredibly accommodating, contributing significantly to our memorable experience. Sonam and Sam in particular were a pleasure to work with; they made us feel welcomed and well taken care of by attentively addressing every detail. The entire team made us feel truly special during our visit. and we look forward to returning in the future. A truly outstanding establishment.

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, beautiful furnishings lovely friendly staff. They were kind enough to bring almond milk up to our room for tea and coffee. Just have limited options for dairy free and vegan people. Also don’t have snack options like a quick wrap on the go. Not many cafes nearby but Heritage cafe has great coffee, just no dairy free or vegan food options. Bookplate cafe has good vegan options nearby. Bed was very comfy, beautiful courtyard area too. Loved the desk in the room too as we used that a lot. Large gym area for guests as well as a lap pool, spa and sauna.

The Hyatt Hotel Canberra – A Park Hyatt Hotel is easily the best place to stay in Canberra. The interior and decor are elegant and the architecture gives the whole property a distinctive charm. Service throughout the stay was excellent. Very professional staff, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with plenty of variety and quality ingredients. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the overall atmosphere is calm and refined. It’s clear the hotel takes pride in both presentation and service. A genuinely enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended staying here.

Room: Menzies Suite Occasion: Wedding The team at the Hyatt Canberra was great and accommodating. A special shout out to Rowena who was a communicative and friendly point of contact during our wedding day. We got our room prepared far in advance, with some lovely compliments. The venue is spectacular with some very photogenic locations. We (and our family) had a wonderful time here. Hope to stay here again.
