A little on the pricey side and often packed with long queues, but worth the wait. The food was excellent — hands down one of the best chicken dishes I’ve had in Sydney, and the coffee was just as impressive. What really stood out, though, was the service: fast, attentive, and genuinely warm without missing a beat. A rare blend of great food and hospitality.

We had a wonderful experience at the Glasshouse High Tea for a small baby shower. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and the value for money was excellent. The ambiance was perfect for a celebration, and even though it was a bit windy outside, the heater kept us warm and comfortable the whole time. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. A lovely young lady looked after us throughout and was so friendly and helpful. She helped us set everything up and made sure our orders were taken care of smoothly. They were also happy to adjust the menu to accommodate halal dietary needs, which we really appreciated. Everything ran perfectly and felt very special. Highly recommend for any special occasion.

The atmosphere was amazing. We tried nachos and other 2 times i forgot. Food was amazing, ambience was very fascinating. There was a snow white theme. Sometimes you have to wait for the table. They were very busy when we went. Service was outstanding. To gain the access to snow white theme place we needed to get food receipt. Overall experience was expensive and amazing.

Absolutely loved my visit to The Grounds Cafe! From the moment I stepped inside, the aesthetic was spot-on – a truly welcoming and stylish atmosphere. But it wasn't just the looks that impressed; the food was fantastic. Every dish was clearly made with care and tasted delicious. The drinks were equally wonderful, and the cakes? Oh my goodness, the cakes! Absolutely divine. I'll definitely be back for more of everything. Highly recommend!

The Grounds of Alexandria has an amazing atmosphere and a charm that is very hard to find. It's busy with people and style/design of the place is full of everything hovewer it doesn't become chaotic. The restaurant is a place to go to, even if not hungry, just to experience this vibe and enjoy good coffee. We had tasty fulfilling breakfast, great coffee, and pastries. Food and service were on point. Highly recommended! One small negative was that our tea was hot but not barely near the boiling, and the way kettle had leaves set above water, the essence of tea was never released. Because of that, tea lacked flavor. That is the only thing that could be improved from our visit, but as a tea lover could not leave 5-star because of that. I think that if you have a chance to stop by, The Grounds of Alexandria is the place to go!
