I've been to Olio several times, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, with a beautifully designed interior that feels both modern and comfortable. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends or a slightly more special occasion without feeling too formal. The food is consistently delicious. Every dish I've tried has been thoughtfully presented and full of flavor. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, which I personally love—it means you can try a few different things without feeling too heavy afterward. That makes it especially ideal for a girls' night out or a light, elegant dinner. The overall vibe at Olio strikes a perfect balance: sophisticated but not intimidating, classy but still warm. It’s one of those places you find yourself returning to again and again—not just for the food, but for the whole experience. Highly recommended.

The 9-course menu for $80 was incredible , such great value for the quality and creativity of the dishes. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, and the flavours were honestly better than some of the more expensive Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve tried. The staff were fantastic , friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I’ll definitely be coming back with friends and highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a top-tier dining experience without the hefty price tag.

We had an amazing dinner and amazing time here. The ambient is romantic and very welcoming. The food was perfect with nice selection of wine (try their Grigio pair with the prawn bisque). But, the service topped it all. Our host Francesca really do an excellent job from the booking experience, the patience when we were late, the care in our dietary requirements. She treated us not like a king, but like a family. The service is our favourite and definitely warrant a return to this lovely place.

We had a lovely dinner overall. The food was great except for the prawn bisque soup. The flavour was still lovely but the soup was a bit watery for my liking, would have preferred a little cream on it to thicken it a bit. The barramundi though was to die for! I could eat another serving of that. The fish cooked perfectly- moist and crispy skin. Tomatoes in it were a perfect pair. And the best tiramisu I’ve had so far. It had depth and great balance to it. Note though that bisque flavour was in 3 of their dishes (as noted in the menu) - the soup, the pasta and the fish. So if you don’t mind that then good, but if you’d like to have a wide variety of flavours then this might put you off a bit. Service was excellent, not a very long wait in between dishes and the servers came by every now and then to check on us, which was a nice touch. The environment was nice, romantic and just a very good relaxed feel to it. However when we first entered we were seated next to the plants in the middle of the restaurant and the table was just too close to the plant which would have not made for a pleasant dining experience as the leaves were touching my shoulders. They did offer to move the plant, but we opted for a different table and they were able to accommodate us, so that was good too. Will definitely recommend this place.

The 9-course tasting menu offered a well-balanced structure and looked appealing at first glance. The meal started off on a good note — the first two courses arrived promptly, and the arancini (course 2) had a crisp exterior and a well-seasoned, creamy center. A solid start. But from there, things began to unravel. A 45-minute wait before course 3 seriously disrupted the rhythm of the meal, and even after checking with the staff, it took another 15 minutes to arrive. Courses 3 to 5 — prawn soup, pasta, and a fish dish — lacked individuality. The sauces tasted nearly identical across all three, leaving little contrast and depth. There was a sense of repetition rather than progression. The sorbet (course 6) was a refreshing interlude — cold, clean, and much needed at that point. Unfortunately, the steak (course 7) was very tough, lacking both tenderness and flavor. A dish that should’ve been a showstopper fell flat. The saving grace came near the end: the tiramisu (course 8) was rich, well-balanced, and easily the best bite of the night.

Enjoy chef Lino’s award-winning food in a typical alfresco setting on Olio’s terrace, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a lunch, dinner or a glass of vino. There’s something special about rooftop terrace dining. Maybe it’s the altitude: even...
