It wasn't cheap, but for a nice meal for an occasion I found it to be reasonable in terms of pricing. Portions initially seemed small, but once we were finished we were all quite full, and everything was delicious. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The space is nice, well laid out and not overcrowded with tables.

Service was top notch, waiters and waitress came to our table at least on 4 occasions to check in if the food was good and if there was anything we want. Chef Lino even came out to have a conversation with us. Food was really fresh and came pretty quickly. Overall I had a good time with my family and friends. Thanks Chef Lino for your hospitality and of great food of course!!

We visited Olio in search of an Italian fine dining experience. Having recently received 14 chef's hats, our expectations were set high. We each ordered a different version of the chef's menu and shared it, so we could try as many dishes as possible. While the swordfish was quite enjoyable, our beef carpaccio starter was lacklustre and the ice cream desserts were frankly disappointing. Our friends were complimentary of the Wagyu beef main course but not much else. Overall the experience did not match up to expectations and in this price range, we have had better experiences elsewhere.

Loved this place. Its clear that they put a lot of care into the food. Everything was delicious! Their set menus were great value considering the quality. Our waiter was very friendly and the staff were very nice and accommodating about our dietary requirements. The menu is quite seafood heavy but that's to be expected with Italian food. Even for someone like me who can't have wheat and doesn't eat seafood I was able to find plenty of delicious things to eat.

Great experience. This was our first time to Kensington Street. We came as we were gifted a dinner voucher to use at one of the restaurants. Looking at the options and the menus we opted to try Olio. The restaurant was quieter than the others below. The service however was very personalised and not over the top. Marcelo looked after us from the get go. He was very accommodating. His accent can be a little challenging to fully comprehend everything he says but he is very personable. We went with the chefs selection. All of the food had punchy flavours. The serving sizes were good too. We didn’t walk away hungry. The stand out for us was the prawn ravioli and the smokiness of the burrata. Our swordfish was a little too cooked for our liking which pleasantly surprised both Marcelo and Lino the head chef as often people want it more cooked but they very happily remade it for us. I couldn’t fault anything with the evening or the food. Would I rush back however? No. It’s very fine dining and at a higher price point that suits as an occasional dining experience.
