This was our first time here, like a little hidden gem! Isabella was NICE!!! The ambiance was superb! Even though its a whiskey bar, the food was fantastic!!!! A perfect evening! 🥮We'll be back!

Fan of the place. Whisky bars are the first attractions we look for when we visit new areas and we are glad we found The Captains Balcony. Lovely atmosphere and selection of whiskies. The gentleman who I assume to be the owner/manager was friendly and knowledgeable - made our visit a very pleasant one.

We stumbled upon this place during happy hour by chance. We had two cocktails, each priced at $12, and they showcased a very high level of mixology! We visit bars often, and this one left a lasting impression. We’ll definitely come back! We made sure to leave a review on Google!

With how often I go to The Captain’s Balcony together with friends, family, and colleagues to try my favourite bar in Crows Nest, you’d think I would have more pictures! I remember the first time I stopped by The Captain’s Balcony after work, intrigued by the $12 Happy Hour cocktails and $10 bar snack. I’m a huge fan of the Captain’s Marg— grapefruit, of course— and the Negroni. Happy Hour is the perfect way to end a work day without breaking the bank. Everyone who I’ve brought has enjoyed the drinks, the ambiance, the friendliness of the staff and the food. As a pescatarian, I highly vouch for the salt & pepper squid and the charred cauliflower. The smoky savouriness of the cauliflower sauce is top-teir! My friends and family loved the Taiwanese chicken and the pork belly too. Would love to try the Whisky tasting events in the future. Looks really fun!

It was first time i visited this place, me and my boyfriend tried 6 different cocktails, they were pretty good looking and tasty. The bartendar was super polite and attentive. Overall, it was a great experience and i would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
