We had a group booking of 30 people on a Monday night. The New Brittania was very responsive and cheerful when making arrangements via email. The venue has a great vibe and the pizzas are yum. Good accommodation of dietaries including vegan and gluten free. Staff were friendly and relaxed with the large numbers. Bonus: pool table! Thanks for a great night.

Hired the venue for a 21st birthday party and cost being $350 for the night. Staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The venue itself, a total mess. For starters one of the air conditioners was not working, the two tiny fans inside the venue do not rotate, making the heat from the pizza oven get trapped inside with no way out. Most of the guests had to step outside and stay there for majority of the night since the heat inside was unbearable. The sound system kept malfunctioning as well as the speakers having such little volume even at maximum capacity. Regardless of the workers hospitality and friendly service, if I had known about all of these issues prior to hiring the venue, I would have definitely NOT continue with the booking. Anyone thinking on hosting an event in this venue, please do your proper research and physically investigate the place, so your special night does not get ruined.

Our group had a booking after checking that their website stated they were wheelchair accessible. Despite our booking stating clearly that one in our party required wheelchair access we turned up to find that the venue was not accessible by wheelchair and the table assigned to us was a high table with high chairs so clearly not suitable for a wheelchair. The nice person behind the bar admitted that their manager was aware of the request but did nothing… so no thoughts to call us and see what we could do or anything!! So there we were on a Saturday night, stranded and trying to get a table for 9 people at the last minute nearby… Very disappointed with the management of this place and don’t recommend it to anyone looking for a venue which is accessible and wheelchair friendly.

Great variety of beers and pizza with a large number of vegetarian options (surprisingly)! They also have a bunch of discount offers including $10 pizza for students and Friday lunch etc. Would definitely recommend!

recently attempted to book a bucks party at the New Britannia and was initially told there’d be no problem accommodating our group (50ppl). I provided all the details they needed, but then communication completely stalled. For over two and a half weeks, my calls, emails, and text messages went unanswered. It was incredibly frustrating to be ignored like that, especially when trying to organise an important event. Poor management and a disappointing experience overall.
