Black Bar & Grill truly lives up to its reputation with its incredible steaks – no exaggeration here! And the desserts YUMM! It's the perfect spot for a special occasion. The staff are amazing, and a big shout-out to Sam, who strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. And of course, hats off to the talented chefs! Elegant restaurant perfect for function, or business meetings. Excellent bar and wine selection, everything is professional and of high quality standard. The steaks are the highlight dish but also seafood is top quality. Price is expensive but in line with the fine dine level. Every year we have here our Company Xmas party and we are always very satisfied. We will be back again next year, I could not recommend a better place. The walk around Sydney by night is breathtaking. You will not be disappointed.

Beautifully designed place with nice views across Pyrmont and known for its steaks. The service was meh’ however which unfortunately let the experience down. There were 3 tables (only) for our lunchtime booking and even then it was hard to get the waiters attention. Just to order wine was an effort as there was very little knowledge by the staff as to if they had the bottle we wanted and went back and forth for far too long which impeded the experience and our conversation. The food was tasty but the steak (wagyu) wasn’t mind blowing in flavour or how it was cooked sadly.

I recently hosted a corporate function dinner, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely exquisite. Every detail was carefully managed, making the evening truly memorable for our guests. I highly recommend this venue for any corporate or special event. Black Bar & Grill focuses on its steaks but seriously we had the best ever paella - it’s next level! The international wine list is extensive. The service was faultless. The restaurant and location is beautiful. We want to go back and try the entire menu!
