I enjoyed this rock n roll themed restaurant and bar. The Italian sausage pizza and pasta were generous in portion. The burrata was creamy and smooth. It comes with a drink package that includes 4 different drinks or you can add more drink options for extra.

We felt so welcomed here thanks to Heather’s warm hospitality! Really enjoyed trying the hashbrown carbonara and the nduja mozzarella in carrozza both new to us and absolutely delicious. Loved the playlist and the decor too. All around great vibe! Definitely coming back. 2nd visit review: Vasco in Surry Hills is a total hidden gem! My partner and I don't usually frequent pubs, but this place stands out because it feels like a premium casual restaurant cleverly disguised as one - the quality is that high! The food is absolutely superb, and I'm already planning my next visit to try more with friends. For starters, you must try the Beef Tartare with Housemade Crisps, the Burrata with Red Pesto, and the Roasted Artichokes with Pecorino and Walnut-Chilli Honey. For mains, the Lamb & Mushroom Ragu with Garlic and Potato Ravioli and the NDUJA CARBONARA SPAGHETTI are phenomenal. The dessert is a MUST try. Their cocktails are equally great; I highly recommend the 'Back in Black' and the 'Not So Sweet Caroline.' Both drinks are on the sweet side. Not to mention, the staff is absolutely such a vibe-attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Shoutout to Heather and Emma. Highly recommend this spot for great food, excellent drinks, and top service.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Vasco for the first time a few weeks ago. The evening was to celebrate my partner’s daughter's 30th birthday with a table of 12 people. From the outset, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. We ordered the set menu and the food was outstanding. Supremely fresh and tasty, the whole table enjoyed every dish that was presented. Our drinks, including cocktails, beers and spirits were all great and the music and general atmosphere was chilled and fun. We noticed when we were leaving that someone had booked the whole restaurant that night after our departure…obviously as impressed with Vasco as we were!! The waiters and waitresses were all exceptionally pleasant and great to chat with. Thank you for the best night, we will be returning.

love vasco so much. was so sad when the newtown location closed but me and my boyfriend tried out the surry hills one and it’s great! a lot less crowded and wonderful atmosphere. The food is amazing and so worth the money. Perfect for a date night or special occasion :)
