Had our wedding here 23rd November 2024. Wow Wow Wow, My wife and i are still on an amazing high from the occasion. From inception and sitting Down with Tara who coordinated it all to her amazing staff that made it all happen. Tara kept us calm and carried out every little detail out without concern. We had also booked 20 rooms for our guests to stay overnight many of whom had never stayed at the Intercontinental but will definitely be coming back. The presentation of the room coordinated by Tara and First Sundays wedding planners was above all our expectations and beyond. If you are planning a wedding this is the place to be, Forget your wedding reception halls, do it here, Classy, Elegant & above all professional. This would have to be my best review to date, The most important day of my life turned out to be the best. I cannot thank Tara and her amazing staff enough. Thank you Thank You Thank You!!!

Truly amazing hotel. Recently refurbished - rooms are plush and comfortable. The harbour views are breathtaking. Do yourself a favour and pay for Club Lounge access - the views from the Aster Bar are without doubt the best in Sydney. Proximity to all the best things Sydney has to offer (Botanic Gardens, Opera House, The Rocks, ferries to Manly or Watson's Bay) make it a great place to base yourself for a weekend or a week!! Even having grown up in Sydney, I still found it an incredible stay.

We had a suite overlooking Sydney Harbour and the views were magnificent! The rooftop bar is breathtaking and a must if visiting the hotel. The rooms were very well presented and modern. Beds are extremely comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. Staff were very friendly and always happy to see you. Their bar staff make fantastic cocktails and really know their stuff. The food is delicious, however, be mindful of the time you go for breakfast as we went for the last hour on a Sunday morning and you could tell they were struggling to keep up with food and beverage demand. Defo not a biggy, as we went at different times and no waiting what so ever. We would definitely recommend the Intercontinental and would stay there again without hesitation.

Very happy with my visit. I found the service to be excellent at the club lounge. Worth getting a room with lounge access. Breakfast, service and views amazing i complimented the manager as the staff was super friendly making sure we were looked after. I highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel. The rooms are newly renovated so have a great aesthetic, and are a good size. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is quite good. Breakfast at the Conservatory has a good selection but the service is slow - order coffee the night before if you want to receive it within 15 or 20 minutes of arrival (and that's after you've waited in the queue for 5 minutes). On the other hand, when it arrives it's quite good.
