Reviews for WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo

Very nice experience and it’s definitely worth! You can see a different animals like a snakes, kangaroos and koalas. Great area in the middle of Sydney, there are ticket machines in front of entrance and you can pay comfortable by card. It was impressive and I would recommend that place to visit 💪

Great place if you wanna see Koala!! The place is small but well managed, so still provide good experience for visitor. My favorite spot is koala area, we can buy food, sit down, enjoy the food and look at koala.

It felt a bit underwhelming. It’s compact in comparison to actual zoo, and can be covered in just a couple of hours. While the animal exhibits are decent, they didn’t offer much excitement. (Crocodile viewing from tunnel was closed on our visit). It’s a quick visit with Koala cafe being highlight.

If you do not have time to go to the outback or Zaronga Zoo, Wild Life Sydney Zoo provides a convenient way to enjoy Australia's most interesting animals quickly. Tickets can be purchased online, which is highly recommended. We spontaneously decided to visit on Christmas Day and encountered a challenge—ticket machine on the harbour needed more paper, and the attendant struggled to replace it. Luckily, we arrived about thirty minutes before the last entry. Once inside, there was no wait, perhaps due to the holiday. Most of the animals were asleep or hiding. However, we saw a small kangaroo snacking on lettuce, and later got up close and personal with Western Gray Kangaroos. The Kangaroos are in an outdoor area with an eager and knowledgeable guide ready to answer any questions about them. The zoo ends on the roof with the koala bears who were unbothered by many guest as they slept. The exhibit was reasonable and we walked away with a photo and a little information about the animals. This activity is great if you are short on time, do not want to go to the main zoo, or if you have a party with people with needs (young children, challenges walking, etc.). It is quick and enjoyable. Be prepared not to see everything, but you will see something.

Was really impressed with the zoo. Thought It was really well kept and clean. We paid extra for the koala photo experience. Our keep was called Chloe (I'm sure that was her name). She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about koalas (which was great), and she answered all of our questions. She made our experience pleasant, and she was very good at her job. Well done. The only downside we had when visiting was the Croc talk at 2:00pm. I was really interested to learn more about crocodiles. But the sound system was not the best and made it hard to hear the keeper talk about the animals. They also had the music playing over her, so it was even harder. Usually, you have to battle against screaming kids. But this was a new one on us. Really hope they change this because the parts we heard sounded good. Overall, a good few hours were spent.
