The WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is one of the most popular spots on Darling Harbour, and in Sydney. This is hardly a surprise given that it’s a zoo - animals make nigh on any setting that much better. Aside from being a well-loved fixture in Sydney throughout the year with children and children-at-heart alike, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo also spends much of its time moonlighting as a versatile and high-quality function venue. The spaces available within the zoo for functions are the Kangaroo Walkabout, Koala Rooftop, and the Croc Deck. Each is unique and striking in its own way, complete with native trees, open-air vibes, and of course, animals. Functions - whether cocktail-style or for dinner, private or corporate - are able to book in access to enclosures before celebrations kick-off. WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and the team at Merlin Entertainments can accommodate cocktail events, sophisticated dinners, corporate presentations, as well as family fun days. The WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is found on Darling Harbour, right by the Aquarium Ferry Wharf, and a short walk from Pyrmont Bridge. Of course, that also means the WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is a stroll away from a whole host of Sydney’s most notable spots and sights.

The Koala Rooftop is a bit of a sight to behold - mostly because of the trees and koalas. That's right, given that this is in fact, a zoo, expect functions and events to be in the same vicinity as actual koalas. The koalas perch in the tr...

Wildlife Sydney is a nice place to visit, especially if you’re looking to see some iconic Australian animals. However, the zoo is quite small, and the number of animals is limited. It’s a good option if you want a quick look at native wildlife without spending too much time. Great for kids and tourists who have a busy schedule.

A small zoo, the area is easy to walk around, starts off with the bush animals and then there is a bird and reptile section. I especially enjoyed my first encounter with much beloved Aussie animals - good 'ol 'roo and Koala bear! It took around an hour to walk and discover all the areas and exhibits. I bought the 4 pack ticket so it was an easy QR scan to get in. Enjoyed the little photo ops and despite it being quite touristy, I really enjoyed myself.

A great little zoo for our nearly 8yo and 5yo to cover off many species of AU amazing wildlife. Many areas are indoors or slightly covered so this place is a handy activity for slightly rainy days like the day we went. Keeper talks were kept brief yet interesting and keepers very helpful if you had questions. I discovered the website and actual keeper talk schedules were not entirely in synch when I went but I see they have updated it since, which is great. Overall a good experience. I good relaxing half day activity and you can do SEALIFE next door with the other half of your day.

We took our animal loving son to see some Interesting animals. It was a on a weekday before NSW school holidays. Bought tickets online easy process. There was no wait. The good: lots of animals friendly staff. Amenities accessible. Cafe was well stocked. The bad: not much to say here, except maybe if it’s a wet day the footpaths would be horrible as it’s dirt and gravel? The ugly: nothing at all. Definitely recommend the Wildlife park for visiting with young kids. P.S. you could also feed the lions and get a photograph for a fee. Keep up the great work team.
