Reviews for Peppers Salt Resort Spa

Great place for a holiday - close enough to what you need but far enough away from the distractions of the world. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although the air con is either off or cold. The pool is great and it’s very close to the beach, both are excellent. If you enjoy happy hour drinks, you best enjoy lines as you’ll be waiting a while. We hired bikes but they weren’t in the best condition, however fine for cruising up the beach path. We were always greated with a smile from all employees and no question or request was too hard. Overall, very happy here which is why we’ve kept coming back over the years

stayed at this hotel on the last weekend in February 2024. While the rooms were clean and tidy they're definitely not worth the price tag they add to this hotel. More of a best western on steroids. Staff are so keen to get out of the place that restaurants and bars are geared to pensioners that like to get to bed by 7:30pm. rather than run on reduced staffing levels to save costs and stay open later, everything closes instead. check in with angry staff is a terrible welcome. we won't be going back.

This is our first visit to Peppers at Salt. We are loving our stay here. The pool area is perfect for young kids. The staff are all very helpful. A special mention to Julie at reception who checked us in and has been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We will be returning again next year!!

From the moment we arrived it went downhill. Checkin took 20 mins to be attended to. We made our way to our room and it was so disgustingly dirty it felt icky just walking in. Mouldy air conditioner unit, Burns on carpet, Broken blinds i attempted to pull them down i pulled the the blackout down first which was white well it was meant to be it had stains all over it like something sticky so when dust was around it was all stuck to it which made almost the whole blind black. I then pulled the black blind down and it had white splash marks all over it. I proceeded to the reception to advise of the filth in the room and was told that they were at full capacity and I can not be moved, we can give you a food/beverage credit. We went to the lobby bar to order a drink. The counter was so dirty, the menus were sticky, and the mess behind the bar was disgusting. We were in the lobby having a drink. Every table had empty bottles and plates from the previous people sitting at them. While having our drink I hear another family complaining and hear the front desk say oh okay we can give you a complimentary upgrade (though i was told at full capacity) at this point we were approached by the assistant manager she went and checked the room and came back with a bottle of wine and a new room key. Only to find when we entered the room (yes a bit cleaner) but still mouldy air con and 2 single beds we went back to reception and asked for king to be told that we can't but we will fix in the morning. On our way out in the morning we requested for bed to be made king only to come back after lunch and still 2 singles we had to request again so on the third time it was made a king. The other couple that we were there with (female being pregnant) also got food poisoning from ordering room service and had to change their flights till a day later and were also charged an extra night fee. Terrible service, dirty hotel, lack of staff. For the almost $400 a night you're charged a complete rip off. Kind Regards

I wouldn’t normally post a bad review - however we did give the hotel opportunity to address our concerns multiple times over our stay without any result. It’s an amazing location, totally let down by a lack of management and staff numbers. Rooms not serviced, dirty dishes left in corridors, long waits at breakfast, no pool towels. It’s an expensive holiday for a premium experience that was not delivered. Such a shame as we had high expectations.
