My wife and I absolutely loved our visit for our anniversary dinner. The staff were so friendly and really made our night perfect. The food is delicious and arrived very fast, the service was exceptional and everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. Definately will be coming back.

Good food, good atmosphere and views. But even better service. The front desk check-in girl was a bit of a lostie. But the waiter/waitresses are exceptional. Bijay in particular is very polite and outstanding with his customer service. Definitely would go back.

Smelt strongly of stale urine in front of entry to kitchen. That entry leads to main dining area. The carpets were old and filthy (vacuumed but just old like an old unwashed cat mat). The fit out at the entrance and throughout was old. The security guards gave unfriendly stares to everyone for no reason making it an unpleasant environment. The poor wait staff were friendly but obviously overworked. Food that was supposed to be crunchy was soft (like crunchy bread pieces), like it was prepared too long ago or left to go soft. If there was a saving grace the alcoholic drinks were OK but they're as expected from any bar. I was expecting a nice experience from the website but the reality wasn't pleasant so I left early. I entered as a blank slate with an open mind but this venue won me over in the negative direction. There is so much strong competition from nearby Darling Square with amazing food and atmosphere.
Espy Eats
We has a fun lunch at Cafe del Mar as part of their first table deal. Sunny day and a great venue that looks out towards Darling Harbour that is currently in redevelopment. We had a selection of tapas and small plates along with cocktails and desert. For me the standout dishes were the mussels, the octopus skewers. Felt we should have ordered three serves of the octopus skewers. The freshness of the prawn acevichado was also standout. Desserts wise there can be only one for its theatre and tastes and that was the Golden Moon. Only disappointing dish for me was the Brussel sprouts which were just so undercooked that I immediately didn’t want to eat them. Cocktails and wine by the glass selection spot on.
