This is a review for back in 2013 , I remember coming here with my family for one of my sister's weddings .... It was a really nice and wonderful place, I had to peek at the photos to confirm if this was the place or not, But it definitely is, It wasn't far to walk to the rooms and such, it was easy when dealing with younger kids at that time ( I was 19 , babysitting of course ) The food was spectacular to... I remember how fancy the blinds were and the bathtub etc... it was like the simple things that made me happy in a weird way 😆, But this place is awesome, I wished there was some way I could fund it now, and relive the memories. I highly recommend this hotel, I remember the staff back then was nice and very understanding, even when my other sisters car had to be towed somehow to get back to Qld 😆. Good times.

We stayed for three nights after returning from the Gold Coast and had an absolutely amazing and very relaxing stay. We didn’t even need to explore as everything was perfect at the resort. Both the pools and the spa were amazing and everyone was very friendly. The buffet breakfast was awesome

Beautiful pool with waterfalls and plenty of shade with very comfortable beach chairs. The restaurants just 5 minutes walk away. There is nothing to do just relax and eat. We have come every December for the last 4 years. Loved it. We booked 2 rooms. We got the keys to one room at 10am and the keys to the other room at midday, thats amazing. The staff are very helpful from the check in staff to the cleaners. There is pool service on the weekends

Recently stayed in an Ocean View room at Mantra on Salt. The view from the room was nice albeit not entirely an unobstructed ocean view. The bedroom faces east, wherein lies the main problem. First, there is no air conditioning in the room (only in the living area), so the room gets very hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. There is only a fan in the bedroom directly over the bed - which has two speeds being slow and super fast. Second, there are no blinds on the windows - only shutters. The bedroom gets bright very early. So, if you like to sleep in a cool room that does not get direct sunlight from dawn, Mantra on Salt is not for you. For the price charged for an Ocean View room, air conditioning in the bedroom should be standard.

Paid extra for the ocean view room, but all we got was a tree view. Description should be updated accordingly. Room was above the Salt Bistro, so it was loud at night then we were woken early (4am) to vacuum cleaning below. Not what I expected from Mantra. On a positive note, room was spacious and the resort pool was amazing and the hotel is so close to the beach. Loved having all the restaurants close by too.
