The Branksome Hotel is an excellent spot for relaxation and unwinding. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the restaurant offers great value for money. The breakfast, in particular, is both delicious and satisfying. However, it's important to note that the hotel is located near the airport, so occasional noise from passing planes might be heard. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay if you're looking for comfort and quality.

I’m marking this low despite 5 stars all round… why? They asked for $200 hold (I’m assuming it’s $100 a night)- check out on Friday and was told it would take 2 business days for the hold to clear. Tuesday, nothing, Wednesday nothing…. Here we are today, Saturday and still on hold. Called the bank thinking they hadn’t cleared it… after being on hold for 2 hours, they tell me the hotel still hasn’t cleared it and there’s 30 day hold… Wait WHAT?! So call the Branksome and was told, oh I see it hasn’t been released due to a system fault?! Now have to wait another 2-3 business days, even then how can I trust the system is still not faulty?! The inconvenience of this whole thing as well as being out of pocket for $200 is truly ridiculous! I was there on a business trip and this hotel is our company’s choice for our employees- a shame really considering a vouched for them as being quite a nice hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious- mind you, I was by myself on a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place. Breakfast is nice and price is as expected, however, dinner was quite pricey and the noodles I had- they are much better is a cheap eats restaurant than it was here. Overpriced and considering there really wasn’t much choice nearby, just be prepared to pay the price. Great location if you’re looking for a place near the airport, and the noise from the plane wasn’t too much of a bother.

Really nice hotel. Great room, nice staff. Good facilities and an indoor/outdoor rooftop bar. About a 20 minute walk to Mascot station, the nearby buses are a pain - so taxi or train to the centre.

Stayed for 1 night. Pricey for a family of 5 for 1 night over $500 deal was better for 2 nights costing around $600. Great place to stay though. Easy to find and access to carparking underneath. Lifts were quick and accessible. The pool area and gym were fantastic. I would have preferred the pool to be warmer but our kids enjoyed it. Had towels for the pool too which was great. Also a beautiful grass area, sitting area and playground for kids to play. Stunning plants created such a relaxing email. We did ask for 2 single beds, an extra bed and a double but when we got to our room we only had a double and King. We got an extra bed brought up and the gentleman was so lovely who did this for us. We had breakfast downstairs and was disappointed as when we got there things were quite empty and took quite awhile to refill. We definitely didn't eat much and for the extra price we paid it wasn't worth it. The tables inside are very close together so you feel you are on top of each other so when we found we could sit outside we moved. Beautiful area to sit outside with the garden. If you like firm mattresses this place delivers. They do say you can get something to put on top. Loved having 2 bathrooms with 3 kids and also having shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers was handy. Also hair-dryers in each bathroom. Wish I knew before so I didn't pack stuff not needed. Clothesline in shower great to dry swimming gear. I would have loved an option to keep the bathroom door open but the 2 doors into ours wouldn't stay open so the bathroom got stuffy I felt. The rooms having a kitchen and laundry facilities would be great if staying longer. The balcony was also a great addition. We loved the block out blinds which we only found when they came down around 7am. They were automatic and must have been set. We just used the privacy ones. Super quiet no noise and we were on the 5th floor. Didn't hear traffic or planes. We loved our stay. Would we stay again.... only if we could get a deal as it was pretty pricey. Easy access in and out is great as no stress with crazy traffic. A well presented place to stay.
