Our one bedroom king suite was large enough for our family of 4. It was nice having a separate sleep space for the kids. The suite was refurbished and had a beautiful view of Darling Harbour. The location was central. Having access to a kitchen and dining table throughout our stay was convenient. The clothes rack in the laundry was handy for drying our pool gear. The pool area was amazing. The breakfast included was basic.

Amazing Harbour Bridge Views – Perfect Base for a Sydney Stay We stayed at The Sebel Sydney and were lucky enough to have a room with a direct view of the Harbour Bridge—absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and lit up at night. Waking up to that iconic view made the whole stay feel extra special. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, and the balcony view was the standout. The location is unbeatable—right near the harbour, with easy access to Circular Quay, The Rocks, and heaps of dining and transport options. Staff were friendly and made check-in smooth and easy. If you’re visiting Sydney and want incredible views without the ultra-luxury price tag, The Sebel is a great pick. Would absolutely stay again.

Not an inexpensive hotel but it is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD and the rate was very competitive. Perfect location for The Rocks and Circular Quay and Opera House. The 1 BR apartment was well furnished including an exceptionally comfortable bed. The fit, finish and cleanliness of the room left nothing to be desired. And we really appreciated the time and counsel we received from the Assistant Manager on taking the train to the Blue Mountains rather than booking a tour.

We booked this hotel for our pre and post cruise stays as it was close to the cruise terminal in Sydney. We found that not only was it convenient but the rooms were terrific. They were spacious, the beds very comfortable, room was very clean and extremely well appointed. Along with very welcoming and efficient staff this was a top stay.

We have recently stayed at this hotel for three days as a family of four. I will share the positives first, the view was absolutely amazing, and that is what you are really paying for here. The rooms were of a good size and were tidy. The reception area of the hotel was always clean and well presented, the Australian lady assistant manager we asked for directions from was very helpful and pleasant. We did not feel this warmth from other members of staff at the reception desk. The location is great, no more than 20 minutes walk from everywhere you want to be, this made it really easy for us to explore and then go back to the room as we please when the kids were tired or needing a nap! Unfortunately the room we stayed in was very tired with damaged furniture, grout missing from the bathroom, wall plugs still in the wall from where something had been previously hung in there, hair in the bath (the bath was very clearly not cleaned) and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable for my daughter she requested to sleep on the floor. For the price point, we would have expected a room with a higher standard of both cleanliness and attention to detail. There were also often room service trays dumped outside of our room by I assume housekeeping who mean to collect them later and forget. After noticing this, I looked at reviews on here and have seen similar issues and a copy and paste response from the hotel. I would suggest reinvesting into the rooms - as there are many hotels offering the same view without these complaints. To conclude, it was a comfortable stay, disappointing in some areas given the price, beautiful views and location is great!
