Amazing Harbour Bridge Views – Perfect Base for a Sydney Stay We stayed at The Sebel Sydney and were lucky enough to have a room with a direct view of the Harbour Bridge—absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and lit up at night. Waking up to that iconic view made the whole stay feel extra special. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, and the balcony view was the standout. The location is unbeatable—right near the harbour, with easy access to Circular Quay, The Rocks, and heaps of dining and transport options. Staff were friendly and made check-in smooth and easy. If you’re visiting Sydney and want incredible views without the ultra-luxury price tag, The Sebel is a great pick. Would absolutely stay again.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, even obliging a later checkout when one of our family were unwell. The apartment was ideal for a family of four, comfortably accommodating 3 adults and 1 teenager. The bedrooms were spacious, especially the main bedroom and ensuite, the kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were clean and neat, and the view from the living room was amazing! You could easily while away the hours with the full view of the harbour, the bridge and Opera House. The Sebel Quay West was conveniently located close to everything so there was no need for a car; plenty of great cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Highly recommend the Sebel and would definitely stay there again!
Our room was excellent The bed was very comfortable. We were well insulated from the noise of expressway traffic and harbour traffic. Air conditioning was quiet. Bedroom, living room and bathroom were a good size and the position was perfect for easy access to the city and harbour and public transport. Everything was beautifully clean. The only criticism is that for the price of the room one would expect better coffee making facilities, at least an espresso machine,
We chose this hotel for it's location, an easy walk to the theatres we were attending. We arrived early and the lady that greeted us very helpful. She organised parking of our car and storage of our cases so we could have lunch before checking in. When we returned I was disappointed as I had requested a high floor and the room was on the 9th floor. On entering the room we very happily surprised to find we had been upgraded to a larger room with views of the harbour. The breakfast menu isn't large but the food and the serving size were both very good. Also I had no problem making a change to what was on my order. All the staff with were pleasant and good to deal with. Looking forward to our next stay in a few weeks.
- Top best things about this accommodation: Staff, Location and the Pool ! The bedroom was also big enough to move around. Great. Lots of sun in the room. - Things to improve : adding coffee machine instead of basic instant coffees (very poor quality). Also More food options for the restaurant located in the building. Not many options. The breakfast is very average and it's not buffet. Choose from limited Menu . The coffee is really good. We had a great stay in overall. Maybe will go back without the breakfast this time. There is lots of better cafe options nearby. Recommend to get it without BF. The rest about this hotel is great. Thanks Management!
