We have been looking at staying at Coral Sea Resort for months and were excited for our upcoming stay - even with severe weather impacting the ability for activities during our trip. On our way to the airport we were informed our flight had been cancelled due to the airport closing. The resort would not honor rescheduling as it fell within their 48 hour cancellation policy - one staff member argued that Proserpine Airport was open and that the hotel is fully functioning so therefore even though we physically could not make our booking they still took the cancellation fee. The lack of flexibility and support in an unavoidable situation is really disappointing.

We visited Coral Sea Resort for lunch to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel special, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special shout-out to Reema, who looked after us with such care and attention—she is phenomenal at her job and truly made our day feel even more special. The chefs went above and beyond, especially with the dessert, which was an exquisite touch. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and we left with wonderful memories. Thank you, Coral Sea Resort, for an unforgettable anniversary celebration! We will definitely be visiting again!

We stayed a couple of nights whilst in town. Rooms were clean and tidy, but basic with an unusual balcony arrangement (king suite). Pool is excellent and has a great view of the bay. The Poolside restaurant had decent food, although a little pricey, with the only issue being some of the service was a bit slow (we waited nearly 40 min for coffees).

We recently had our wedding here and were so happy. The location and rooms are absolutely beautiful. The events team made it so easy and kept us informed with any changes. The staff were very helpful. I would 100% recommend Coral Sea Resort for anyone looking for a wedding venue.

I and my new wife enjoyed our experience. The bed was too hard for my back. There was no oven or microwave. The sheets were never changed, they were pulled up. There was no lounge. The tv had only Local stations. The cushions were unwashed. The shower leaked. The buffet breakfast could of had hot food. Like bacon and eggs for free. The pool was amazing. Happy hour was amazing. The beach was awesome.
