Reception was friendly and helpful, advising us we would have breakfast included and giving us a free drink voucher each to use that evening. The room was spacious, airy, modern and comfortable. Bathroom was functional with great water pressure in the shower. The room was quiet - we heard no aircraft noise. The dinner menu was varied with quick service and high-quality meals with large portion sizes. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was free flowing. All staff were pleasant and friendly in all interactions.

This hotel is brilliant. You don't hear one plane due to the high quality windows. The staff are kind, caring and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the flow-through lobby, bar and restaurant area is beautiful. My Mother and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner in the restaurant at night. Thanks to the lovely young lady at reception who showed such care and compassion towards me when I had to leave due to unforeseen circumstances and for checking on Mum that night and getting her to breakfast the next morning and for the staff coordination involved in getting her into an Uber back to Brisbane following. She speaks well of all of you. Once again I am very sorry for the extra work incurred, but you all showed the true meaning of hospitality. Thanks to all of you.

Amazing Hospitality & Care! I can’t thank the team at Rydges Gold Coast enough for their exceptional hospitality during my mother's stay over the weekend. I couldn't join my mother for a wedding, so I had to arrange everything from a distance and Amber at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly - from start to finish. From the moment she arrived at the airport, she was welcomed with hospitality, making her feel safe and relaxed. She arrived on a Friday afternoon and the weekend staff went the extra mile the whole time until her departure on Sunday. She had a great holiday and I'm very grateful for their service and will absolutely be recommending this hotel to friends and family. :) The hotel itself is beautiful and clean with stunning views.

We stayed for just one night at the Rydges Gold Coast Airport Hotel. We were assigned a room on the first floor facing the airport, but unfortunately the room next door was one of a few that had suffered some rain damage as a result of a Cyclone Alfred and the damp smell had found its way into our room, so we were moved to the 6th floor on the ocean side. Hint - ask for this side, the upper levels have an ocean view! Check-in was a breeze, staff were all very helpful, basement parking was free (although I believe it will become paid parking within a couple of months). Our room was modern and relatively spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Dinner at the Runway Restaurant downstairs was tasty and fresh. The entire hotel is soundproofed so we heard absolutely no aircraft noise at all during the night. In the morning we had breakfast downstairs, and this is where the intended 5 star rating for the stay became a 4. All of the dishes meant to be hot were stone cold. We advised he staff who found that there was some problem with the power to the buffet warmers. Strange thing was, no one had complained up to that point - they’d just left uneaten food on their plates. Fortunately there was an egg chef on duty (poached, fried, boiled or omelettes) so we were able to get something hot. Coffee was from a machine and was fine. Food selection was good, but overall the breakfast was a bit of a letdown at the end of a great stay. If we have the opportunity again, we’ll be back.

The stay was quite basic, considering the price and hotel grade. The room was small with minimal amenities, and the bed was not very comfortable. On the plus side, breakfast was included, though the variety was limited, and the coffee provided was low-quality sachets. Free parking is available, but spaces are limited, so it’s a matter of luck to find one. The self-check-in and check-out process was convenient and efficient. The highlight of the stay was the excellent service—both the receptionists and bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
