Reviews for St Crispins Cafe

One of the best breakfasts we've had anywhere. Coffee was excellent. Very very tasty. The view was great over the water and over to the nearby golf course. Hearing some noise, we noticed other diners pointing out the crocodile in the water, who was watching the golf course ( for golf balls or actual golfers?) I would highly recommend this venue.

During our two month stay up at Port Douglas, we have treated ourselves several times a week by visiting St Crispins Cafe. The location is just so unbeatable with the lush tropical vegetation that surrounds the Cafe and with a great balcony view over a well kept golf course. If you’re lucky enough, you just might see one of the small local crocodiles that lurk below the deck. Every time we have visited, we have been greeted by very attentive and polite staff who enthusiastically usher us to our table. The menu is just delicious and we’ve spent our visits making our way through it. My favourite is the avocado smash with an extra poached egg and some cheeky crispy bacon! This is our ‘happy place’. Yes there are plenty of cafes in Port Douglas but this place is special. The location, service and food are the best and this is why we keep coming back. We are thrilled that we have such a place where we can visit and feel completely at ease with the world. This is what St Crispins Cafe does for us. Thank you to the team of St Crispins for providing such a relaxing place for us to come to during our holidays. We look forward to many more returns next time we’re up this way. Cheers from The Boyz

The view and location are lovely and service friendly. It is expensive ($90-95 for two breakfasts). First off, bacon although crispy was bland 🥓 Secondly, the hash browns were elite - crispy and well seasoned. Having salt grinders that have been filled but the grinder not replaced is not what you expect when you are paying these prices. Resulted in the ruin of my breakfast… There are better options in PD.

Unfortunately, didn't have a great meal here. Quite expensive for what we got. Definitely had great presentation but really lacked in flavour and punch. Both my partner and I were disappointed with our breakfast as they were basic and pretty bland. Smoothies were nice though.

This is our go to place for breakfast in PD. Food is 10 out of 10 but more importantly the staff are amazing! Armand, Adam, Nils and his partner in the kitchen make the place so special. The setting is tranquil and so pretty, we could sit there all day! Thank you for another couple of amazing breakfasts - we will be back time and time again. Just awesome!
