Our first family holiday here & sadly it will be our last. The cleaning in this resort has been atrocious. When we arrived we noticed the kitchen still had food in it from pervious people staying in the room. There was ants everywhere . The couch ottoman was dirty with mud and dried food all over it. The bathroom toilet had poo on the seat. There was a heap of black hair in the bathroom all over the floor and behind the door. And in our kids room was a pair of ladies pants (not that that was a big worry but just goes to show there not cleaning properly after people leave). We complained to the front desk and they said that they would change us to another room in the morning. A “cleaner and better room”. When we got the key for that the following day it was exactly the same and even worse. And we were also told they would help us move our bags etc.. and that never happened. I rang again to complain and asked to have our room cleaned properly or to upgrade the room & of course they only suggested to have the room cleaned properly. When we left the room we told the girls (cleaners) that we just wanted to make sure the hair in the bathroom was cleaned and a few other things and when we came back to the room NOTHING was done except clean sheets and towels. So bloody disappointing. For what you pay for this accommodation you expect a better service.

I will preface my review with the fact that we travel extensively around the world and stay in many different types and qualities of lodging. I give this an average but that would be generous if I was just considering the room. My husband booked here due to lack of options near Easter. Frankly I was very worried after reading the reviews. We did not have the experience others had with dirty rooms, poop on the toilet, etc. That said, this hotel is older and it shows. I give the rooms a low rating for many reasons. It was clean but maintained a humid musty feel the entire time. Even our clothes felt damp when we packed them. Part of that is due to being so close to the coast. The rooms are average at best and I personally wouldn’t want to do much in them but sleep. Our patio always had a big puddle in the middle even after a full day of sunshine. The beds and pillows are not great but we had a king bed which we desired . We had to remind ourselves we didn’t pay for the higher end resort hotels and you get what you pay for There was a well worn but working washer dryer in the room and they provide detergent The location is up the hill from the beach which was fine for us but may not be convenient for those who struggle walking . The road from the hotel to the beach is closed to cars between 7am and 7pm . You probably don’t want to drive down there any way. They have buggy service to drive you down a ways or pick you up. We used it to go down a few times but never called for a pickup. We had no problems getting our ride down. Be prepared for quite a bit of walking once you are let off. We love walking so that was not an issues. It is an uphill walk back. The service was fine but not exceptional.

Booked a king bed as my wife is 25 weeks pregnant. Arrive to two singles in our room. Ring reception to get it changed - they said no problem, straight away. Come back that night, nothing changed. See reception in the morning to get them to change - no problem. Come back after lunch, nothing changed. Call again - finally it gets fixed that evening. No apology, no offer of goodwill. Absolutely HORRENDOUS service. The resort seemed very dated - pool umbrellas had rips through them for example. Seems like it is either very poorly run, or simply not making enough money so as to maintain a higher standard. Would expect at least some half decent service from a $500 a night resort. Stay elsewhere!

Our recent stay at Peppers was marred by a series of disappointing experiences, overshadowed only by the exceptional service of Mary, who served breakfast with grace and efficiency. We encountered our first issue upon arrival. Despite returning after the designated check-in time at 2:15 pm, we found our luggage neglected among a sea of others that had already been attended to. The reception staff’s offer to assist felt more like a begrudging afterthought, leading us to transport our luggage ourselves. The room’s condition further dampened our spirits. For the price charged, we expected modern, well-maintained room. Instead, we were greeted by outdated decor, unclean and odorous drains, and a surprising lack of room service over the long weekend. Our attempts to enjoy the hotel’s amenities were equally frustrating. While the hotel hosted a large conference, it became apparent that guests not associated with the event were not prioritised. Service at the pool was painfully slow, taking over 40 minutes for our order to arrive, and our inquiries were met with dismissive remarks about the ongoing event. The climax of our unpleasant experience was during checkout. When I went to retrieve our stored bags, I was met with a disconcerting scene. The manager was openly reprimanding a staff member, and when I sought assistance, her response was curt and unprofessional, making me feel like an unwelcome interruption to her day. Overall, while Mary’s delightful service at breakfast was a bright spot, it was not enough to compensate for the series of letdowns that characterised our stay.

We have already booked our stay in the Villas for next year, and there was only one left, lucky we checked. We have been staying yearly for around ten years now. So much to enjoy here. Just a free buggy ride down the hill to the top end of Hastings St, and a short drive from so much more. Or access Noosa’s free bus service over the holiday season. The daily housekeeping is a key part of why we love staying at Peppers. They are always polite, thorough and good humoured, and flexible if you give them early notice. The same for all other staff. No matter how busy always a smile. The restaurant has recently changed Chef and name from View, to Park and Cove. Man it was a wonderful surprise when we had dinner for the six of us one evening. The new menu and format exceeded our expectations which are always high from many meals here over the years. The staff are consistently good, and together with the kitchen gave us our equal best dinner of this year’s trip. Thank you all once again. Peppers Noosa has never failed to deliver a wonderful holiday base.
