While the location is nice, the hotel is not. The rooms may look good but it is just lipstick on a pig. The room I stayed in, had a coffee machine and cups but no sink to wash them except the bathroom which is peculiar also if you turn the shower on for about 5 or more minutes water flood's the entire bathroom as there is almost no lip to keep the water in the shower enclosure

Just stayed here for the weekend, the rooms and location were great. Check in time was advertised as 2pm but our room was not ready until after this so this was a bit inconvenient but other than that everything was great.

Special mention to the tall gentleman manning the breakfast check-in on 19/5/24. I was feeling under the weather with croaky voice, this gentleman heard my voice and went out of his way to organise some honey for my throat. The extra touch made me feel very welcomed. Great to see the staff actually cared about the guests, it wasnt his job to do this but he still did. Sorry didn't get his name. Thank you!

A wonderful place to stay! Very centrally located, tasteful decor throughout, well-appointed rooms with cool tones and all amenities. Off the main street so nice and quiet too. Staff are extremely professional and courteous. Bed is super comfortable. While this hotel does not have fancy electronic controls etc that other five-star competitors might boast about, it actually makes for a much more hassle-free and smooth stay!

Stayed at the Rydges in fortitude valley for one night with some friends for a night out and we all enjoyed it. The beds were neat and the aircon worked, which was a bonus however the bathroom had an old mop smell. Which wasn’t too powerful but it was a little annoying especially with no vents. The pool and gym was throughly enjoyed aswell. We also got the buffet breakfast in the morning which for $34 each was quite worth it, with unlimited coffee, juice and hot food as well as fruit. Especially considering if you go out to a local cafe you end up paying that price for half of that. For a one night stay in basically the middle of the valley, close to clubs and bars, we were glad we stayed! Recommend
