Maggie choo is an incredible restaurant. The food is unbelievable and filled with so much flavour, it is to die for. Kayla was an amazing waitress. She made sure that we had the best experience for our anniversary. 100 percent recommend her, she passes the vibe check tenfold.

Lovely celebration of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and fun! Each dish was flavourful and enjoyable, and the restaurant looked unique and vibrant. I would say the value of the food and drinks could be improved, as a lot of the meals were small considering their price. But, overall a wonderful experience and a great restaurant to visit!

Miki and her team looked after us from the minute we walked in looking hopefully at nabbing a table without a reservation. The restaurant was buzzing and everything was glowing pink which lured us to the front desk in the first place. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. We particularly loved the juicy prawn and crab dumplings and the rich, silky tom kha curry of Moreton Bay bugs and prawns. Yum!

Had such an amazing time with my friends here- the atmosphere and ambiance was stunning, from the fluorescent pink-purple lighting to the beautiful cherry blossoms lining the roof. Our food had so much flavour, and we especially enjoyed the little nuances and twists to well-known Asian-style dishes. Our servers were so kind and really added to the positive experience we had tonight. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when we are back in the Gold Coast.

Of course! Here’s the updated review: I had the pleasure of dining here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The Moreton Bay Bug was fantastic, and I’m fairly certain the dressing included lobster, which elevated the flavor to another level. The steam dumplings were a highlight—each one fresh, tasty, and perfectly crafted, with the duck dumplings standing out as an absolute favorite. The oysters were also incredible. The Thai Vinaigrette was zesty and fresh, but the Kilpatrick with Asian sausage as the base protein was something truly special—unexpected and delicious! Adding to the experience was our delightful server from Edinburgh, who not only provided excellent service but also shared some fantastic stories with us about places we’ve both traveled. The combination of exquisite food, friendly service, and the stunning Gold Coast atmosphere made this a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend!
