We recently stayed at Mantra on View Hotel in Surfers Paradise, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had expected, especially for the price of $932 for two nights with two rooms. Firstly, the cleanliness of the rooms was okay . The rooms were not up to standard, with areas that seemed to have been overlooked during cleaning. Considering the high price point, we expected better attention to detail. The view from the room was very beautiful with the city view plus the ocean view. The bed was super comfortable. Another major disappointment was the spa facilities. We had been looking forward to relaxing in the jacuzzi, but it was completely broken and unusable. This was particularly frustrating as we had specifically chosen this hotel partly for the amenities, and the jacuzzi was one of the features we were looking forward to. Overall, the hotel did not live up to its reputation, and for the amount we paid, we expected much better quality and service. We will not be returning or recommending it to others based on this experience.

Location is great but the hotel needs improving. The only restaurant/cafe is only open for breakfast. No bar or other food services. Bathroom is mouldy. Carpet is stained and dirty. Paint is flaking off. Fridge is rusting. Front entrance roof to the hotel is damaged (a truck must of driven into it). Location is fantastic but the hotel itself needs lots of improving. Close to the beach, close to Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise boulevard and shops. Everything was walking distance. There’s even a tram located very closely!

I was a little concerned after seeing some pretty bad reviews but we had a really good experience with you. The room was great, we didnt hear any night club noise and the room was clean and comfortable. If we ever come back up there we would stay with you again. The reception staff and the cleaning staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location.

Beautiful location, Was met by a rude nasty receptionist. One of the rooms has mould in bath room on floor and on roof above beds, the bathroom was were disgusting and not clean. Thick dust on bed heads air con dated and didn't work no Soaps shampoo or conditioner provided in one. Also noted would in hall way. Car parking was also ridiculously pricedat $50 over night, ( not apart of mantra though.

Very dated, good location. Spa pools don’t bubble and are not heated. Breakfast buffet was basic, nicely cooked and fresh. My room was clean spacious and comfortable with balcony and nice views. I paid $511 with my Accor All membership for 2 nights early December 2024.
