Reviews for Revel Brewing Co Rivermakers

Visited Revel Brewing Co Rivermakers and was immediately taken by its charming location and the vibrant atmosphere. The staff here are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. However, despite the higher prices for food and drinks, which I expected to reflect higher quality, I was disappointed with the food served. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse, which was surprising given the premium cost. While the setting is perfect for a relaxing drink by the river, they might need to revisit their menu offerings to match the otherwise excellent ambiance and service.

This venue is seriously so beautiful. Looks the the perfect venue for a wedding or birthday, old brick with wood paneling. 🥰 I had the buffalo chicken wings on Wednesday (wings wednesday). Was great they were one dollar each wing and $2 for the blue cheese sauce. The flavours were on point and heat levels just right. I paired them with The Babyface Grenache Sour Ale (my fav, but limited release). kids eat free Wednesday too.

Went to Revel Brewing Co Rivermakers for a boozy Sunday lunch for Mother’s Day. Really cool place in an awesome location on the Brisbane river. It’s got secluded winery vibes on entry and the place itself is actually a really nice place to be. Food wasn’t too bad, classic pub feed style menu. Wasn’t anything to rave about but generally tasty. Massive selection of beers as you would expect all pretty good. All in all good experience, would recommend.

I rarely bother to review, usually only good reviews, but I felt compelled to in this case. We were rudely spoken to by the manager - didn't get your name but you know who you are - tall guy with the scruffy beard. I'm on my own with my two kids and my 21 month old kid was being a bit loud, intermittently squealing admittedly fairly loudly but not constantly. We were sitting alone at a table inside, none of the other tables occupied at the time and only a few people at the bar waiting to be served. I was trying to stop it but anyone with a kid having a moment knows there's not much you can do. This bloke came up and said, and I quote, "if you can't get your kids to stop screaming maybe you shouldn't bring them to a restaurant". How dare you judge me - I'm guessing you don't have kids. It's not like we took them to a Michelin star restaurant where I'd totally understand that. This is a kid-"friendly" joint - if you expect to only ever have perfectly behaved kids there then maybe check yourself. An overpriced dry cheeseburger later and we were out of there never to return. Mate, maybe you were having a bad day too but you should think about what you say to customers before you say it. Never been spoken to like that before in an establishment. Also, the prices on the menu at the venue differ from the menu online - that's false advertising.

We held a 21st birthday celebration at Revel brewery. The venue, food and staff were absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Rachel, the event manager. We will definitely be back. Thank you
