I came to watch the UFC on a Sunday. Food was good, service is great so are the screens to watch sports events.

But hiring a band to play live music in the middle of an event feels so we can't hear the commentary or converse with mates etc feels so counter intuitive. I got nothing against the band or live music but just schedule then at different times.

Wonderful restaurant with very lovely staff who are happy to help with any requests. The food was cooked to an excellent standard and was delicious. The steak was a standout. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice feed.

Had a great time at Newmarket Hotel! Big shoutout to Manu who served us, he was super welcoming, friendly, and made sure our drinks were perfect. His warm attitude really added to the vibe. Definitely coming back!

Edit: I received the response below from Tony. Appreciate the gesture. But no need for me to reach out personally. Just do better and I'll change my rating. Original review: The steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium done. My chicken parmy was over cooked. Our salad was dry and tasteless. To a point where the chicken was chewy. When you pay close to $30 per meal and over $30 for two beers you expect better. On top of that staff weren't interested in offering a smile or service.  Do better. Or I won't be back.

The food is really good We keep bringing friends and families here with no complaints. The Sunday roast is great and my kid is a fussy eater and loves the kids spag bog. The bar service is slow is my only feedback.
