A nice location but if you are wanting Caloundra amenities and beaches it is a bit far to go for these. Your own transport is needed. There was ample parking however and accessible entrance. We had a generous sized room and being able to cook and prepare our own meals was convenient. Nice food available in the restaurant but the breakfast menu is limited. Good coffee. Good conference facilities. Quiet location and very pretty outlook.

I’ve been to the Pelican Waters Resort a few times and have mixed feelings about it. I’ve never found any of the very few staff around to be overly friendly or helpful. Sometimes the lobby is just empty and it seems the woman making coffees also runs the reception, but she doesn’t actually acknowledge you and you stand around feeling a little foolish. Plenty of friends have stayed here and they all say the hotel rooms need an update, as it’s looking very tired. It’s convenient if you’re there to play golf, but otherwise it’s located away from the nicer beaches and can be avoided.

If you love the smell of India curry every night then this is the place to be. The location is a little out the way. We wanted quiet and on the golf course ( side note, they are not part of the golf course ) It’s fairly new. The room was fine. The bed was so uncomfortable though. Don’t know how many times I have banged my shin off the corner of it and tried not to fall out as it has sunk at either side. Managed to twist my knee too. The views are lovely and the pool is nice. Reception just can’t help you if you are not wanting to smell Indian curry every day all day. Not being offensive I love an Indian meal but I just can’t stomach the smell all day and night. Reception said I couldn’t cook a meal in my room but the neighbours can because they are allowed. Not really the fresh air, sun and relaxing holiday we wanted. More of an apartment style hotel than a hotel. Room service is seriously lacking too. Only a pizza or a Thai curry. Same with the restaurant. However had my first Thai meal. For a fussy eater it was actually really nice. I would like some other options for food though. Not that we would come back.

If you're looking to stay somewhere perfect for swimming, tanning, and enjoying cocktails by the pool, this is the place for you. I highly recommend it—the room was fantastic, featuring a kitchen, laundry, and a huge balcony. With amenities like a tennis court and gym, you wouldn't even need to leave!

We had a wonderful time here. Location is pretty good cos it's quiet and has a nice view overlooking the golf course. Unfortunately gotta drive to the beach cos walk is a bit too long but for the price it's great. Would definitely return!
