I experienced the most pleasant service from every reception staff member from the moment I walked through the door. I was greeted with genuine welcoming smiles and it was so refreshing. Kelly and the rest of the staff were amazing. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Keep up the great service. Additionally, the location and fantastic facilities were great. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be stopping in again soon. Thanks for restoring my faith in excellent customer service.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport. I’m a local and have stayed here several times. Level 6 is perfect if you love planes — room 626 is larger with great runway and ocean views. Rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, great showers and TVs. Staff are always friendly at check-in, check-out and in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is fresh, well priced and always well stocked. I had room service and the fish and chips were delicious. Thanks to the young man who delivered it (Alan) — very friendly and helpful. Facilities are excellent — great swimming pool, gym, conference rooms and a beautiful rooftop bar with awesome food and views. Parking is also excellent. Overall this hotel is excellent. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay, made even better by Michelle. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble — she went out of her way to help us and made us feel welcome and looked after throughout our stay. It’s staff like Michelle who really make a difference and turn a stay into a great experience. Thank you so much, Michelle — you’re an absolute asset to the hotel

I stayed at Rydges Gold Coast Airport as a comfortable alternative to camping, which my family enjoys far more than I do. The hotel was just around the corner from where they were staying, making it the perfect base while I picked up and spent time with my son. I arrived around 3pm and was able to check in straight away without any hassle. One thing I really appreciated was being able to add breakfast on the spot at check-in, which meant one less thing to think about in the morning, especially with a toddler in tow. After checking in, I headed off to spend some time with family and returned around 9pm with my son. Parking was straightforward, spacious, and easy to access, with overnight parking costing $25 for hotel guests, which felt reasonable given the convenience. We were on the 6th floor in a large room overlooking the airport, which absolutely made my three-year-old’s night. Watching the planes was a highlight for him. The room itself was excellent, very spacious with a large, comfortable bed and plenty of room to move around. It would have easily accommodated my wife as well if she had joined us. The bed was big enough for three, though my son was very happy sleeping in the cot provided. There was a large TV for entertainment and a generously sized bathroom with an open shower that actually gets properly hot, which is always a win. About an hour into the stay, we realised the room temperature was going to be too warm for sleeping. Both my son and I are hot sleepers, and the air conditioning would not go below 24 degrees. I went down to the front desk and explained the situation, asking if the temperature could be lowered to around 20. The staff were excellent and adjusted it straight away. After grabbing some snacks and heading back upstairs, the air conditioning was ready to go at our preferred temperature. The only downside, and this is more of a system issue than a service one, is that the room air conditioning runs on a timer of about an hour. This meant the room would slowly warm up again, and I had to keep turning it back on through the night, roughly every couple of hours as my son stirred. It would be fantastic if guests had the option to fully control the temperature themselves and disable the timer, as that would make an otherwise great room close to perfect. The morning buffet breakfast was solid and well worth it. My son demolished fruit and eggs with enthusiasm, and there was plenty of choice to keep everyone happy. Parking validation was simple, checkout was quick, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. I would absolutely stay here again, and will be doing so in the future when my family comes down to camp. It is comfortable, convenient, family friendly, and backed up by genuinely helpful staff. A great option if you want comfort without sacrificing location.

Absolutely terrible service ! I am a high member of the Rydges hotel community. I order a snack of some calamari and chips yet to see the food has been sitting there for at least 15 mins under neath the warmer in the kitchen with no metal hot plate to cover. Went and got the food myself as I seen it was sitting there and they were preparing for close yet I did order at least 30 mins + before closing to be told it won’t take long at all lucky I went into the restaurant and checked had an apology from the chefs “ sorry mate the girls should of done that for you” Sorry mate I was not waiting around for my Calamari to become rubber from underneath your heat lamp and to be sitting there even longer when the girls are just yapping behind the bar. Not impressed at all with this service. I did have a great check in with Michelle who kindly upgraded me and provided great service but unfortunately went down hill with the “ Food and beverage services “
