I stayed here for 4 nights, and was on floor 18 and found the room modern and very comfortable. Great city and semi sea view on the balcony. I did think the shower pressure could have been better, but I feel that's standard for most hotels. Very comfortable bed and pillows. A GREAT location right next door to the Paradise Centre mall, very close to a Woolworths store that is just downstairs, and other eateries and shops on Cavill Avenue etc. Buffet Breakfast was excellent, especially the omelettes. Lots of selection of your standard hot full English/Aussie style breakfast fare, plus cereal, toast, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, coffee, juice, etc. My *one* complaint was when trying to ring for room service /several/ times on Tuesday night; the line was always busy, then kept ringing, and then finally when it got answered I got someone who was having a full on aggressive conversation with someone else in the background and hung up. So I went to the mall for food instead. I found the bar staff at BLVD quite prickly at times when I was redeeming my drink vouchers. Like they were constantly on edge and ready for combat, despite me being nothing but friendly = which wasn't a good look or feel. So I feel like the BLVD food and drinks section in particular requires a lot of work in comparison to the rest of the hotel. The elevators could be a little long to come, but again I feel that's standard with most Hotels and you just have to take that into consideration and not expect to get down to say breakfast in an instant with 36 floors and 408 rooms all vying for 4 lifts. Even on the 18th floor I could hear the general noise of the city, but again I felt this was standard and expected with the location being right in the heart of Cavill Mall and Surfers, which is kind of the reason you choose this spot, so the rowdiness of the area is to be expected, but wasn't so much so that it stopped me from sleeping or anything. All in all I would recommend the Hotel and would definitely come here again, just be realistic with your own expectations with regards to the location and amenities, and give BLVD a miss.

This hotel is lovely - it's so close to the main beach (1 min walk) and close to Cavill Avenue (all within a 2 min walk). My room was clean and fresh, and had great views of both Cavill Avenue and the beach! Sitting on the balcony with coffee was always met with a beautiful breeze. When I checked in, I was dealing with Isha - Isha was so lovely, so understanding and super accommodating to my needs! So much so that before I swapped my room, she took me up to the room and allowed me to see it first if I liked it, then proceed with the room swap. All staff were lovely, especially the gentleman who I was dealing with at concierge upon checkout! Then every time I saw her, I was greeted with her warm smile and greeting. Her care and help will not be forgotten. My only 2 recommendations are if the balcony rails could be swapped with glass panels so when you're sitting down on the chairs outside, the view is clear and not obstructed (with rails). Second, just to make sure the fans are working in the bathroom before allocating the room out (as my fan wasn't working but I notified reception upon check out). It didn't bother me but may bother some. Overall, it was such a nice experience and I'll be sure to come back and stay here! Oh - before I forget, you could opt out of daily room cleaning for $15 credits towards room service (I think daily - you'd better double check that!). AND - I loved the buffet breakfast - great choices and good portion servings.

My daughter and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. The hotel is right in the middle of the action with the Paradise Centre right next door and the beach a few steps away. Our ocean view room was magic! The room (and the entire hotel) was super clean and the staff so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for making our little mother daughter get away so great!

The hotel was in a great location, also the personal working there was nice and enthusiastic! We enjoy the pool and the environment too. the best part was the location again, close to the public transport, supermarket, beach, restaurants, everything! My partner and I are so grateful with this holiday!

Rooms were tidy and well maintained. Location is superb, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. We were enjoying our stay somewhat until a large booking (soccer teams with young kids) arrived. From that point on the elevators were constantly busy, and were inappropriately being used by the large hordes of unsupervised children. This same group would also use the basketball courts without booking. Suggest FOH staff need better training, throughout our stay we encountered some inconsistent messaging. In conclusion, Novotel Surfers Paradise could not handle the heavy traffic effectively, I would not recommend coming here during a busy period of the year.
