My sister and I, with my two children, stayed last night in room 2505. It had two double beds that were both on wheels. Because of the ‘timber’ floors the beds were sliding around the room a lot. Just sitting on the beds made them move, really annoying and not comfortable. At times risky as it could have run into someone and caused an injury. Sometimes the beds would move forward and the pillows would fall behind the beds. The sheets were barely tucked into the beds as well so they were moving all around. I wanted to make some snacks but there were no plates or cutlery in the room. When I went to call reception to ask for some the in-room phone didn’t work. So I called reception from my mobile phone but was on hold for about 20 minutes and eventually hung up. When I went downstairs, zero customers were at reception so I’m not sure why no one could answer. Then when I was told to go to the cafe to get a plate, I was not being served. Two people working, one customer. That customer then left and another walked over. The staff started to serve him, even though I had been standing there for a long time, while one staff member was not doing anything. So strange!! I also told reception about the in-room phone not working, they said they would send someone up - this never happened. This morning, we went to make a coffee and one of the coffee mugs had old red lipstick on it. Also, the toilet door did not close properly. The room was $400 for one night - which is insane to me when this is the level of service.

Had the pleasure of staying in the Penthouse recently for a Friday and Saturday night with my family and by all accounts it didn't disappoint. The 3 story NW facing unit had awesome views both day and night and had been renovated to a high standard. The 4 bedrooms were spacious, each with their own ensuite (some bigger than others) and the roof top private pool area was great, although some shade up there would of been well received on the +30 degree days we had! Only negatives were that there's no separate toilet on the ground floor or roof top, so when you had to go, you needed to walk either upstairs or downstairs to your own room to go... Would highly recommend this unit 3602 for groups of 6 - 8 adults.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Surfers Paradise! I had a fantastic experience at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. The location is unbeatable—right in the middle of everything, just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions I had. My room was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the ocean. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like the complimentary water and toiletries. The buffet breakfast was also a highlight—lots of variety and great coffee. The pool and gym were well-maintained, and it was great having those amenities available after a day of exploring. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for couples, families, or anyone wanting a convenient and comfortable stay on the Gold Coast. Although the amount of people coming here monthly and yearly would be INSANE. Would absolutely stay here again!

We were upgraded to the executive ocean view room on the 35th floor. We could see whales in the ocean. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathrobes and free mini bar was a great inclusion. Bathroom was spacious enough although the hot water was not perfect, it was hot. We had breakfast included and the buffet had many options and attentive staff. The location was ideal to be close to everything. Even from the top of the building there was a lot of noise - everything can be heard from the busy cavil avenue. The only thing to pick on was the curtains - they dont entirely block out the morning sun. My partner had to fix our curtains to prevent the sun from piercing through at 5am. The pool and spa is small and was filled with kids when we had a dip.

Firstly I would like to say don’t pay for the parking at the hotel, we had to pay $30 to get out of the parking lot anyways and the company they tell you to call to get that $30 refund won’t even refund you and practically call it a you problem not a problem for them. Secondly in the rooms there are no doors to the bedroom for any sort of privacy and no lock on the bathroom door. Thirdly the bathroom floods like no tomorrow after a shower it is absolutely ridiculous. And lastly it takes them 15 minutes to find a solution for a problem you have taken to them, and sometimes they can’t even do anything about what has happened. I would rate this in the negatives if I could. Only thing that was good was the view of the beach from the balcony.
