We normally stay in boutique hotels but overall really enjoyed the stay at Crowne. The room (1402) has the most STUNNING views! Wow! The facilities were all lovely and clean. Bar was nice - typical bar you'd expect in a hotel like this. Wish the weather was warmer to swim in the pool as it looks beautiful. Breakfast quality could do with some work - we found the food quite cold on all 3 mornings but the range they offer is super impressive! Miriam was super lovely to talk to on our last breakfast sitting.
Dragon Heart Sherpa
A nice location for tourists. Great view from the windows of the rolling hills on the background. Breakfast was top notch & loved the juicer for fresh cuppa. Only wished they could have given bottled water in the room. It’s a small world as I bumped into my student Nawang Sherpa.. he and his 3 brothers were in my school hostel from a very young age.

This is my second time in Adelaide now and I decided I would like a bit of luxury so I booked into the Crown Plaza and what a lovely hotel it is, very pleasant staff and an extra surprise was the complimentary upgrade to my room which has really made my stay here special. The views are spectacular from the upper floors especially from my room which over looks the Adelaide oval. The food here is also very nice I very much enjoyed my breakfast lots to choose from on the buffet and I also highly recommend the club sandwich. My only disappointment was the pool doesn't really get any sun around midday maybe this is different earlier in the year but I was mostly sat in shade while I was here.

I recently had a comfortable three-night stay at the hotel (from 6th June 2024). However, there were a few aspects of the check-in and check-out process that could be improved. Upon arrival past 11:00 am, I was informed that my originally booked room wasn't ready yet. While I appreciate the effort to accommodate me with another room, it appeared to be a King Bed Standard room, which differed significantly from the Premium room I had upgraded to (including a layout that didn't match the website photo). I returned to the front desk to clarify this discrepancy. While the receptionist explained variations in Premium room layouts, I was then informed that my original Premium room was finally available. This back-and-forth, particularly with heavy luggage in tow, caused some frustration. During check-out, I received an email invoice with an additional charge for "Guest Communication Long Distance," which puzzled me as I hadn't used the in-room phone during my stay. The receptionist promptly addressed this issue upon my email inquiry. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but streamlining the check-in process and ensuring room allocation accuracy (or updating your website photo) would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Staying an any Crowne Plaza is always an excellent experience. The rooms are clean and well presented. Beds are comfortable and the pillow menu ensures you can sleep comfortably. The facilities are kept in excellent condition and there is always a great place to work while staying here. The staff have been incredibly friendly and resourceful. Thank you all!
