Have stayed in Adelaide a few times recently and like to try different hotels each time. Was really pleased with Hotel Grand Chancellor - the price hooked me in but was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Location was fantastic - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Room was very spacious, beds were a little firm for our preference but not unbearable. Bathroom was a good size, was shower over bath which I don’t really like but the addition of a hand rail assisted with safety.

This is a beautiful hotel with very nice rooms. I booked an executive queen room which is not huge but the bed is comfortable, bathroom and space is very clean and housekeeping is lovely. The staff downstairs and at the bar are fantastic and they have a nightly happy hour with reduced prices on beer and wine and a few food items. This location is very walkable to the Rundle Mall and many places of interest around the city should you like to walk. The only downside is the road it’s on for a tiny tiny bit is a bit sketchy, but nice places are popping up around it so it’s not that bad and again it’s a very short walk to Rundle mall which is spectacular.

This hotel was great. The only whinge that I would have is that the shower was over the bath. I personally didn't like that and would request a room with a stand alone shower next time. I didn't feel safe get in and out of it and it would be easy to slip. The room itself was lovely, the location was great and the staff were wonderful. Simon, in particular, at reception, was very welcoming and made us smile from the moment we arrived. Willl go back to this hotel again.

Great location. service was excellent . Went to celebrate myself and my daughters birthday. room was clean and spacious. Central to Major shopping centre. only minutes from Adelaide skycity casino we stayed here for 4 nights. buffet breakfast can be little bit more varieties. We had buffet breakfast. it's average for 32 dollars. .that's only negative.i can say. highly recommend this place .

I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel. The service was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. The on-site gym and sauna were great additions, and room service was well-priced. The hotel is also conveniently located in the heart of the city. I was here for a three-day conference and found it to be a great venue with a fantastic atmosphere. The food provided during the event was healthy and well-prepared. A tip for future guests, if you’d like to include breakfast, booking it the night before makes it cheaper. Unsure about car park.
