For a hotel of its age, it is very well maintained. Clean rooms, excellent location and the breakfast buffet was nice. A few Negatives. The in room fridge did not work at all and kept nothing cool and when booking, the photos and description said there was a bathtub. I even asked the check in staff if our room had a bath and they said yes. Once in the room there was NO bath. I called to ask if we could either change rooms or pay for an upgrade. I was told all renovated rooms no longer have a bath and there was no spa rooms available. I was very disappointed as I was not offered anything to make me happy at all. So our stay was not satisfactory. I only give negative reviews after I give a business the opportunity to rectify the issues I have. Since nothing was done about my issues a 2 star revies has been given.

The check-in was delayed, room was dated. Nil amenities, except a roll of toilet paper displayed like it was a prize. Nil bar. Room service was poor, food quality below average. I think the IBIS would have been an improvement.

The Novotel at Glen Waverley was a good location for our purpose due to close proximity to a train station so we could get to AAMI park for an event without driving through more terrible Melbourne traffic. The hotel is a bit older but appears well maintained and clean. Access to the carpark and then to our room was very easy. Checking in was straightforward and the staff were pleasant. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. But why in a room that has two double beds and was booked for 3 people would you only provide 2 towels and 2 teabags. I did also see in other reviews that this seems to occur a regularly so am not sure why this gap in service isn’t being addressed. Breakfast was very good however when we ordered 2 barista coffees (not included in breakfast price) they were both totally un-drinkable. Then on checkout when I asked to have the coffee charge removed from our invoice as they were not drinkable - it was a hard no and the staff member wouldn’t even consider it. I found this to be a very non-considered approach to their customer service and it literally left a very bad taste in our mouths to the end of what was otherwise a reasonable stay. Train staff to make coffee (poor lady was on obviously not experienced in this task), cater for guests/room capacity appropriately and perhaps address the lack of customer service when tackling an issue.

​Novotel Glen Waverley offers a great location with easy access to restaurants and public transportation. The car park is conveniently located, and your reserved space is always available. The rooms are clean and cozy, providing a comfortable stay.

Although I only stayed one night, the whole experience was enjoyable. The hotel was easily accessed from Springvale Road. Reception staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Car parking was all one level and there were plenty of car parks for the night that I was there. The hotel is nicely furnished and my room was comfortable, clean and had all that I needed. I was given an upgrade, so the king room was quite spacious. The Meze restaurant is on site, serving both Indian and traditional food. Service was prompt and my meal at dinner time was tasty and reasonably priced.
