MADONNA
DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your sleep! We stayed 3 nights at this hotel recently and barely slept a wink. The noise coming from Crossley street was unrelenting. There was banging, loud music, large steel containers being wheeled down the alley, air conditioning compressor running, sirens, beeping from reversing trucks, glass clanging, drunk people yelling and screaming. We wore earplugs and that didn’t even help. We rang reception the first morning and they were condescending and rude. They wanted to know what noises, how long they lasted, when was it quietest etc. We asked to move to a quieter room and they said they could not facilitate a move until our last night - but this never happened either! They didn’t even ask us how our stay was upon checkout - obviously because they knew we looked so exhausted and grumpy not having slept for 3 nights. They also have a happy hour each night and we didn’t get to attend once because people filled the lobby and you couldn’t even get near the bar or find a seat. Very disappointed! Will not return!

Great friendly & helpful staff. All had a great sense of humour, too. Hotel really had a nice feeling to it. You felt like nobody else was staying there it was quiet and clean. The beds were really comfortable and pillows. Air con was a bit noisy, couldn't seem to change fan setting on it. Would definitely stay again!! Thank you

A great hotel with a great location. The rooms are decent size and well appointed for both business and recreational traveller. The bathrooms are decently sized and the bed and linen is comfortable and stylish. The service at check in was friendly and personable and started my stay relaxed and casual. When prompted the staff were helpful and well educated in where to eat and drink along with other local points of interest. The hotel has great amenities such as a gym and bar that were well presented and easy to access.

Lovely slightly quirky hotel. We stayed in a king room that had a walk in wardrobe area and a nice big shower. The table in the room was a little wobbly for conference calls, air con was a tad loud but could be turned off easily. The guest umbrellas and 5 pm drinks were a nice touch. Location is fantastic, the rooms were surprisingly quiet inside.

Very central location. Walking distance to all main attractions. Can use the QV fitness first if needing a gym. Staff are amazing. Exceptional customer service. Keep up the good work.
