Apartment was a good size with just about everything we required. Beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I do suggest having some cold water in the fridge along with some ice in freezer ( only empty ice tray ). Plenty of towels for showers and the pool. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Parking outside for reception was non existing so ended up going to the car park and calling them. Overall a very good stay.

The team working in the restaurant weren't the most approachable crew that I have meet. There was no cooling in the restaurant for the first 2 days and we also had air conditioning issues in our room. These were fixed but it impacted our experience. Maybe the breakfast crew were the same.

Great location. Not too noisy. Comfy beds. Staff are incredibly helpful especially Liam, he helped us with absolutely everything we needed with no hassle! He is an asset to the company.

Took my daughter to Melbourne for the first time and the team at Southbank Mantra were absolutely incredible. They were so polite, calm and understanding upon arrival until we left the next day. The location is great, as it's pretty straight forward drive from the highway so you don't need to go through city centre to get there. Parking is reasonably priced considering other parking lots are generally the same or more for so close to the Yarra. ($35 per day secure parking). The room itself; we were blessed to have an upgrade, so it was super big and spacious for us, which was a very pleasant suprise. THE VIEWS; Absolutely stunning from our room. The bed was super comfortable with extra different softness pillows in the wardrobe incase the ones on the bed were too firm. Obviously has wear and tear on walls and bathroom, but that comes with every well loved hotel! Overall it was very clean considering the amount of people they must get coming and going, so well done cleaning team, too! The pool and gym facilities were clean and had amazing views on the balcony up there. Spa was a great temp. Will 100% be back, as the location was less than 5 minute walk from the Yarra River, and so close to everything you need in Melbourne, whilst being away from the inner city chaos of noise. Family friendly, can be romanticised if wanting a date close to crown and overall a wonderful experience, only fault is one of my own not staying longer! Thank you Mantra team for making our stay extra special!

Staff were friendly and location was great apart from that it was terrible! We stayed in a 1bdrm apartment room was tiny but bed was ok. Our son slept on the sofa bed. The legs didn't touch the ground just stayed in the air even when he was on it. He may as well of just slept on the springs it was that uncomfortable! The bathroom was not cleaned properly, there was beard stubble all over sink from the guest before us, pubic hair in toilet bowl and hair along the bath where the shower screen is.. absolutely disgusting! Kitchen wasn't cleaned properly either! It's also the first hotel I've stayed at that you have to pay for parking . $35 per night . I sent them an email weeks ago and didn't even get a reply! Definitely would not recommend this place not will we be back! Even for budget accommodation the cleanliness of the room was horrid!
