We decided to share a few dishes, which made for a fun dining experience. Overall, the food was great, with some real standouts. The Garlic Chive Dumplings with sweet soy and chilli ($18) were absolutely delicious full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The DIY Betel Bombs were an interesting concept, and I enjoyed assembling them, though I’m not sure they were entirely worth the $26. The Grilled Pork Baos with house made pickled vegetables and Thai BBQ sauce ($24) was a bit underwhelming it felt like it was missing something and was quite plain, with just the pork and sauce. However, the rest of the dishes were all really enjoyable. I’ve been here a few times now and have always had a great experience. That said, some of the dishes can be a little on the steep side price wise.

It was good but I’ve been to way better fusion places for better value. The staff kept trying to clear the table and asking us if we were finished so many times but would reassure us they were not rushing us. Which was fine but kind of annoying because just leave us alone to enjoy our food and have a breather! Food was yummy though only thing we didn’t enjoy was the chicken wings (dry and not much meat)

Popped in for a quick lunch, had a really tasty pad Thai for $25. Meal was fresh, hot and delivered quickly. Only slight issue was that I sat down very clearly for lunch at 12:15 and was handed 3 different drinks menus, I then had to ask for a food menu which I thought was very odd, however, minor issue in the bigger picture.

Cookie has been one of my absolute favourite restaurants for years, and I was so excited to finally return. We were a group of three and had an incredible meal—the food was, as always, top-notch. Every dish was full of flavour, vibrant, and exactly what you hope for when dining at a place like this. However, one thing really stood out—and not in a good way. The ordering system has changed. You no longer interact with the waitstaff to place your order or ask for recommendations. Instead, you now have to get up and order everything at the bar. For us, that meant ordering a few dishes, then returning later for more, repeating the process each time. And yes, you also have to pay immediately at the bar, which breaks up the flow of the evening. It’s still not as impersonal as QR-code-at-the-table setups, but it takes away a big part of what made Cookie so special: the warm, personal connection with the staff and their great suggestions. The food is still amazing, the atmosphere is buzzing, and it’s a place I love—but I really hope they bring back table service. It made all the difference.

2024 November - Had a lovely dinner with a group of 9 people. The table is a little tight and not enough space for food orders but at least the staff clear the dishes quickly. Everyone ordered cocktails as their first drink and that took 30 minutes for the first drink to arrive at the table. Food is quick and delicious as always! 2023 Amazing dinner food as always. The cocktails took about 40 mins today so a little bit too long to get a second drink while we were eating.
