Loved my stay at this Travelodge in Melbourne. Large spacious rooms with a coffee maker, refrigerator. Also an ice machine and laundry on the ground floor. Not much of a view. Breakfast is charged extra but is worth it. Service is just about non existent. The outdoor doors lock between 8 pm to 6 am but your key offers access. Definitely recommend this hotel. Very central with trams and buses just a six minute walk away.

My first time staying at this hotel, and I was very pleased indeed. Super-conveniently located across the road from Southern Cross Station, I was able to leave my car at home and do all my Melbourne jaunting about on public transport. Greeted by pleasant and professional staff, I was quickly on my way to my room. As I was only staying one night, I had selected a small room, but it was clean and comfortable, and QUIET! I could see the trains across the road, but I could not hear them! The hand basin in my en-suite was a little slow in emptying, but on my way out to dinner I mentioned it, and it was fixed by the time I came back. Excellent service! For price, location and amenities, this will be my first-choice Melbourne hotel from now on. I was very very pleased.

Reception great, super close to Southern Cross Train station and Marvel Stadium, easy to use trams to get around the city of melbourne. We arrived at 9am, they locked our bags up in a room until we came back at 3pm. Rooms clean and have everything you need. Will stay again

Good rooms,great location and just minutes from Southern Cross statsta.I would have given 5 stars,but on the last day,we left behind a bag of fine cheeses which were a gift.When we called up 2 hours later to ask if we could come around and collect them,we were told the staff had thrown them away. I felt they could have contacted us considering it was not yet check out time of 11am. A bit disappointed

This hotel is in a great location and a reasonable price per night considering the location! The room I stayed in was easily large enough for two people and has a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to stay for an overnight trip!
