The hotel foyer and bar area for casual meals is lovely and I have visited the restaurant before and it was always very very good. The staff have been really helpful and accommodating changing our room to one that was more useful friendly with someone with mobility issues with a sensitivity to understanding that stairs and a step over bath for shower is not appropriate and they fixed it. On the negative side there is an overhead shower but no shower cap. There is nothing and I mean nothing in the mini fridge and when I enquired they said we stopped Mini bar a long time ago. This is drip dreadfully inconvenience when you’ve travelled a long way and you just want a drink or a snack without having to go out also only two teabags English breakfast and lots of green tea which I don’t drink Two small towels so I don’t know quite how I wash my hair without another towel No towel rail only a hand towel rail Very light on in toiletries no toothbrush or toothpaste and more particularly no bath mat which is definitely a falling risk on slippery tiles. All things that could be easily fixed. Also my husband did not have a bedside table so couldn’t put anything next to him. It’s letting this hotel down because the staff are lovely. The room is lovely. The ambience of the foyer area is also lovely and I would recommend it on those basis but there does need to be some definite thought about what’s going on in the rooms thank you.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The check-in experience was all good, and the room itself looked nice. The balcony was a bit of a joke - it was so small I had to go inside to change my mind. The downsides: the sheets on the bed didn't fit (queen size on a king bed!) which made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The water pressure in the shower was woeful and water temperature was ridiculously sensitive. There was no wifi (or at least no instructions for how to use it), and housekeeping removed my towels and didn't replace them - so had to call up to get more. Food-wise it was ok - my one suggestion would be to have a couple of healthier light meals available in the bar/restaurant. Not everyone wants carbs and fats for breakfast or dinner. Overall the hotel is good but the rooms / service quality need to be improved

My first time staying here overnight with my support worker. We stayed in rooms 308 and 309. Very spacious and comfortable apartment style room with a double bed, sofa, desk, flat screen TV, small bar/kitchen, a balcony, bath, shower, toilet and double vanity. Parking is available via a basement carpark under the hotel.

The room is very spacious. It even has a balcony. So comfortable. The hotel staff are very helpful and warm-hearted, making me feel at home. This hotel offers 3 bikes. You may borrow them for cycling in the city. 2 supermarkets nearby. Very convenient! Highly recommend!

Great locale. Reception staff friendly. Lack of towels in room. Tardy response when extra towels requested. Young man bringing towels did not knock & entered the room - my partner was naked at the time...Is currently being renovated, which will freshen the aesthetic.
