We spent two nights, in the peak of summer with our daughters for a little relaxing getaway. It was a superb property. Our adjoining rooms, meant our girls had their own space, which opened up to their own garden retreat by the pond. The rooms were modern and clean and very spacious. We had dinner at the restaurant which was indulgent and delicious. The service was great with staff offering suggestions on drinks to accompany our meal as well as information or where to visit locally with our girls. The dinner felt particularly special for my husband and I as we got to enjoy our food and some conversation as the children played on the lawn and in the adjoining courtyard with other children all easily accessible and viewable from our table. The children roamed around the property comfortably and safely, accessing the reading lounges, playing board games, swinging in the hammocks and making friends on the lawn. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts also at the property, with complementary pastries and juices to accompany our meal. We spent a day by the pool, the weather was perfect, the scenery was picturesque and the staff even served cocktails to us by the pool. Thank you to Christos and Lydia for making our stay extra special, our family has made some wonderful memories in Milawa

If I could give this place more stars I would! Absolutely delightful. The staff were lovely and the entire place was so clean! Laying in the hammocks with the winery as the backdrop was stunning! The rooms are spacious, clean, and has all the amenities you'd want (including a great hair dryer! and I for one need a great hair dryer for my hair). The bed was a King size I think and was so comfortable. The pillows were equally as good. There was a big screen smart TV in our room which has a couple of movie channels to watch, however bring your own login details to watch your favourite streaming services. The pool looked great, however we didn't have a swim as we were sidetracked by the Cellar Door close by. Breakfast was delicious, with 3 types of juices, a pastry station, and fruit to eat, as well as the 'order from' menu, which didn't disappoint.

A great setting with lovely grounds in picturesque Milawa. The rooms are comfortable but do not have individual chairs on which to sit nor a table in the room to use for eating or reading. The balcony area is a little tired and could use a spring clean. The shutters need attention. It can get noisy with nearby occupants raising their voices. Room cleaning each day was the major let down. For two days in a row, requests to have the room serviced and towels replaced were overlooked. The restaurant was satisfactory. The breakfast menu has a limited range. If you don't like eggs you might struggle to find enough for a hearty country meal. The service varied depending on who was working on any given day. The coffee served was acceptable but lukewarm by the time it reached the table. One breakfast host was very friendly and offered tourist site suggestions to visitors.

This place absolutely exceeded our expectations. Friendly welcome, clean rooms with an absolutely beautiful view. We had a platter on arrival which was perfect! Then we had dinner at the beautiful restaurant as well as breakfast in the morning. A perfect romantic night away that ticked all the boxes.

We spent 2 nights at Lancemore and it was wonderful. The huge refurbishment since we last stayed is tasteful and refined and has improved the whole complex. The staff , however, are Lancemore’s greatest asset and we were looked after and welcomed by Rosalinda the moment we checked in. Dining staff were professional and friendly and could not have been more helpful - thank you Lidia, Julie and Rachel in particular. A tranquil and welcoming place to stay and we look forward to returning again.
