Visiting from Sydney I had a fantastic experience at this hidden gem on Chapel Street in South Yarra. Nestled up a flight of stairs, this cocktail bar offers a charmingly quiet atmosphere perfect for a school night, with a potential for a lively weekend vibe. The aesthetics are delightful, featuring a cozy book nook and an impressive whiskey display that showcases an array of fine selections. Kalen, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, sharing intriguing insights about the bar's history since its establishment in 2007. The cocktail menu is diverse, and the "Loch and Load" I tried was simply delicious. This place is a must-visit for both its ambiance and exceptional drinks. Highly recommended!

Basically if you're looking for a chill, cozy and relaxing place to bring a date or just to hang out with a friend this place is ideal. Not high intensity at all. There's like a balcony can sit outside as well, there's smoking areas. Nice and comfy place. But if you're looking for a high-energy, nightclub vibe then I would go elsewhere.

Was not really keen to have a cocktail tonight but we have walked pass in front and see from Google maps Heard shaking sound from upstairs Wanted to give it a go We loved this place to be honest Clean, warmth and cosy (What I had is called Layer Cake) The bartender staff guy is very welcoming and gives full attention to each customer as well as prioritising his orders well Would be ideal for a really comfortable first date✨

Lovely bar hidden away in Chapel street. The cocktails are great and there’s lots of space to chill out and sit down/talk. There’s books, board games, some chill background music. There’s usually lots of couples so it’s good for dates, quite intimate with all the couches and seating spaces. Thank you for the experience!

A hidden jem in south Yarra, fantastic cocktails. Can get a bit packed out at busy times, but booking an area is easy enough and totally recommended. When we were there they had a bunch of Jaffles on offer - so good!
