I revisited again The Mint in Melbourne, and I'm pleased to report that my experience was consistent with my previous visit. The Tuesday $22 parma special is still a fantastic deal. On Wednesday I enjoyed the $25 steak special.... Just look at the photo it was on point. The service remains absolutely excellent, and the lively atmosphere at 5:30 pm is a testament to its popularity. Ordering drinks and food from your table, which are promptly delivered, adds to the convenience. I'll definitely be returning for more enjoyable evenings. 👌🍻👍

Had lunch with a friend newly arrived from overseas to attend the law courts. The Mint was convenient, the food totally adequate, and we were left in a quiet corner to eat and talk from about 2 pm to 4 pm Friday afternoon while outside in the garden a very happy party was happening. Very satisfying.

We have this meetup that we do every so often between former colleagues and this time we choose this bar/restaurant. We did not have reservations, but were able to find a place to sit at around 6pm on Wednesday. We had a good time. The facilities are clean. The service was fast. The food was fine. We did not expect anything fancy. Good selection of drinks. Overall, can recommend for a friends night out for drinks. The prices were not cheap as I would expect.

Went to Tuesday night trivia here ( a bit of trivia is that my parents got married at the Mint then had a picnic in Flagstaff gardens ) that was not a question 😞. One of the best city parmas on offer and the drinks are not outrageously expensive. Staff were good. I like good pub staff, like they won't fall on their sword for their craft but they do what needs to be done. Great spot I will go back.
