I can only amplify the comments by a number of reviewers. The staff at the 'Mantra' were outstanding. This hotel is very close to the airport and a very short ride away. Transfers to and from the pick up point were seamless. The rooms and breakfast could do with a little tweak but do not let this detract you from this great value I liked the peacefulness (It was F1 weekend and the city was heaving) and Airport West Mall is an easy 30+ minutes walk away if you need a shopping fix. Would certainly stay again if I was in melbourne for a short stay. Thanks again to all the staff

I had the pleasure of staying at the Mantra Airport Hotel recently. What a great place to stay! Good food and very comfortable accommodation. But best of all the staff were fabulous! From reception staff to restaurant staff to cleaning staff, all were extremely efficient, extremely friendly and extremely helpful. What a really lovely experience my stay was. The bedrooms are clean and fresh. The bathrooms are modern and clean. The problem is the acoustic treatment. Every time someone has a shower or flushes the toilet in a nearby room. The noise is really loud. The main meals were good but the breakfast is poor quality. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked the hotel very last minute, as our flight to New Zealand was postponed to the next day. The rooms are decent, nothing fancy and nothing to complain for. Food is good, we had all meals in the hotel itself, no complaints . Schnelle & Dhiraj at the restaurant were quite nice, cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed the temperature controlled swimming pool & jacuzzi. It’s at a higher floor, so the view was also good.

It was just ok. The room was a bit outdated and the hotel itself is probably in need of a revamp. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the spa was nice! I also had a lovely cocktail made for me by one of the staff members who went out of his way for me. I appreciated that. At the end of the day, it would be fair to say that this hotel doesn’t hold itself out to.be a “luxury” hotel so in all fairness, it’s probably worth the effort to book .
